Pretty sure it was originally 3D printed and then used standard resin casting for duplication and reproduction. That's how the 1/60 Barbatos and Hyaku Shiki were made. I have found tons of layer lines on the inside of the armor parts on both kits. It's pretty standard today. 3D print the prototypes and do resin casting for mass production.
Great job as always Jason! The pinning of these must have been a real pain indeed. The casting looks really good 😁 looking forward to seeing you paint these up! Thanks for taking the time to make the video.
how much is it and were can it be bought from for the UK? this seams like my kind of project, it would have been cooler if it came with a seraphim aswell
Seriously though. It took 15 years to get the suits from Season 1. They should have had the main 4 suits in MG by the time Season 2 started. Bandai is doin' too much... The demand is for MG, always has been - that's what they should focus on.
They only like to produce the main suits, then the side characters get ignored... They did release the MG Exia, 00 and 00 qanta, even avalanche etc which is annoying
True, but in bandai defense look at how many licenses they actually own and produce kits for nowadays. It's definitely not like the old days where gunpla was their main product line. I don't disagree with you and wish we got more BUT at least nowadays we have tons of 3rd party resin manufacturers that make those obscure things we like/want. It's definitely a trade off. Because if Bandai made these they wouldn't be as in depth and detailed but these GK kits are obviously pricey due to the quality and small batch sizes. Either way, it's a good time to be a modeler and the options are much better than they were 10yrs ago to me.
nice video, was excited by the looks of the photos but it looks a bit "droopy" all built up, maybe a result of a subpar engineering of the upper parts? the design is sick tho, especially knees and arms

Yes they all have been 3D printed for years now. I only made that comment because it's grey resin and basically no casting defects
Yeah that's definitely for someone who has experience with old full resin kits which needs lot of pinning.

I expect you to have watched both seasons and the movie before I finish this kit up 😏
Thanks for the heads up on the build process. Where can we purchase this resin kit tho? Can't seem to find it online
Did You find it?

Cost about £170-180
Where can it be bought?
Bandai has been real lazy on New MG line-up. I really would have had trailblazers gundams like raphael.

Do the static leds light up the eyes or are they just extras
For the guns on the backpack, strangely no LED/space for the head

Yeah there's little to no engineering, definitely inexperience from the designer
I wouldn't worry about explaining the process for resin kits every time, just link to your tutorial videos in the description.
Where can I buy this
Say can you get the 1/90 scale Garage Chaos gundam id liek to see what thats like cuz im thinking of getting it
You can buy me one lol
@@JLGunplaUK hah Very funny at the very least tell me do garage kits liek that have articualtion i liek my gundams to move and NOT be a statue
Why would you want to move a painted kit anyway? Some of the larger resin kits can't even stand on 2 feet
@@JLGunplaUK wow so much for being able to hav fun with them like normal kits and figures
I haven't seen a single person who painted resin kits then wanted to play with them. Paints will come off
Where can I buy this?
