    They are beautiful together. I found myself watching them as individuals and as a pair. They are both stunning. Brilliant dance routine.

    Каждый танец шедевр. Это повесть, роман. Сколько прекрасных движений, создающих столь прекрасную палитру красок этого танца. Браво!!!!!!!!!!

    Fantastic as usual! Can anyone tell me what kind of shoes the lady wears for this?

      I know this is an old comment, but Jordan and Tatiana has have their own merch line including shoes, but any wide, short heeled ballroom or jazz shoe will work. Sandal styles are popular.

    What is this, its not swing

    • @kiefferquitayen3179
      @kiefferquitayen3179 4 роки тому +3

      It's called West Coast Swing, a dance rooted in Lindy Hop that continually evolves with the popular music & dances of each era after the 40's.

      @@kiefferquitayen3179 Sorry but the music is awful, and the routine is so over choreographed. To me it comes out of a period where the intellectuals took Jazz away from the people, and turned it into a science. It just don't swing no more.....as the song says " Hep's who did steps, ain't stepping anymore they're doing choreography"

    • @andrewvaughan4256

      It is improv, not a routine. (Although they are long term partners, and have plenty of trick they both know).

      @@markmvenner I was a Lindy Hopper before I started WCS. I also played music for over a decade in marching/concert band & acapella. The past 5 years, I've crossed over back & forth between "old" & "new" swing.
      I hated the music at first too because I didn't know how to move to it. I was used to Jazz, Blues, & rhythmic music. All this slow, lyrical contemporary music was new to me. I've made & heard the same complaints about the "lack of swing" in both the music & dance before. All my high-level Lindy Hop friends I introduced to WCS did the same. In the end, we still crossover to each other's dance styles & enjoy it for what it is.
      Listening & dancing to one style of music all the time gets stale & boring. WCS is danced to a variety of music including Jazz, Blues, Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B/Soul, Rock, EDM, Lyrical, & Pop music. The styling of the dance changes to the characteristics of the song. Maybe try a few WCS classes & keep an open mind? You don't seem to know much about this style of dance. Who knows? You might just enjoy it like the rest of us did.
