In the subtitles, she explains which type of stitches and where they go as she goes along. You might need to rewatch the video and pay close attention to the subtitles 🙏🏼
You can use a crochet hook and join the edges together with slip stitches. There is probably a UA-cam video showing “joining edges in crochet”. Happy creating! 😀

So I did some research on blocking and it basically involves wetting the completed project and pinning it down while it dries.
