My very first ijahman track I listened to in the early 80s and probably his most famous tune. But Hail I Hymn was like a Mini LP. Hail I 2 followed and later Are We A Warrior in 79.
How I love this album! Spiritual, soulful, wonderful! Unfortunately I only have it on CD and that version has been remixed with the unwelcome inclusion of unsuitable instruments. Looking for an affordable, near-mint copy on vinyl.
