Great wee tools are they code readers. I bought one a few weeks ago for the Honda and it done the trick of putting the EML out
I have the 1290 SD R. Purchased the same K8411 unit and a link cable from Rottweilier USA. ($16). The cable did not work. I could not read and clear codes.
Mate, if your reading this, please please help us out with a link to the company you got the cable through
Hi Mate, sorry it took a while as I couldn't remember where I bought it till I found the receipt, Here is the web address obd2australia.com.au/product/ktm-6-pin-to-obd2-adapter-cable-diagnostic-motorcycles-can-kline/
@@biker_dan Thanks a bunch Mate! I will give it a try and report back! Again, thank you for posting this video.
I removed the exhaust and with touching the exhaust servo it threw all sorts of messages on my 1290, could not get them to go away so i put an ESE in place and the MTC came back on and i could change rider modes and shut the bike off using the grey switch instead of the kill switch, all this from detecting the wires were not in the exact place they should be, i ask myself why
I saw your vid on removing the shock and tried myself but could not move it for some reason
Buy an OBE2 scanner and the attachment to connect to your bike, I have a video of one i bought,, Just go oin and reset all codes even if none are showing.. My rear suspenssion would not adjust electronically, over 2 years it has been like this,, Bought a reader, set codes and it works,, So go out and get one,, well worth it,,
I want to talk with you plzz
Well done. Love all the decals as well.
