I enjoy your older videos but as someone that loves to travel and is getting closer to having children, I really like seeing your more recent videos. Showing us the realities of kid friendly travel and that it is completely possible, just different, is giving me more confidence about the next phase of our lives. Keep them coming when you have the time!
With how large that ship is, it practically looked like a small city! I'm glad that they had so many great things to see and do. The different stops you made looked really cool too!
We don't even bother with the dining room anymore. We just do buffet and poolside all the way. Our next cruise is to Alaska with my parents on Princess so will probably eat at least once in the dining room
@@heynadine we are usually late eaters like 7 PM type eaters but that's usually when all the shows start happening so it's just faster to grab from the buffet. Also there usually not much on main dining room menus that we eat anyways. We are not usually adventurous with food and find it's easier to be adventurous in the buffet because you can take a little and if you like it go back for more.
I really enjoyed hearing about your first cruise. My best ever cruise experience was on Oasis of the Sea because of the variety of venues for entertainment at night, and I could eat at a different spot every meal without repeats. CocoCay is my favorite port stop.

Cruising has never really been on my or my husbands radar, until now when we have a 3.5yo and another baby on the way - we're starting to think cruising could be a convenient way to travel/holiday in the coming years and so it's very cool and timely for me to see your perspective on it. Cruising wasn't something that Nadine and I ever considered either before this trip. But yes, it's a pretty easy/convenient vacation to take with young children. Going to an all-inclusive resort would probably be comparable for convenience. The resort would give a bit more freedom to go off and check out other places and escape the crowds if you want to, but then the cruise drops you off on some amazing islands. I'm glad I did the cruise, it was a pretty cool experience.
@mattofstie9298 ah yes, all-inclusives seem to be a popular choice for families here too (we live in the UK but I'm Australian so not as familiar with all-inclusives myself). They'll probably go on our list as something to consider as well! If you guys ever do an all-inclusive I'd be really interested to see your take on that too. I bet there are some haunted areas in some of these cruise ships to check out. Maybe the morgues that they have on the ship for the people that sadly pass during their voyage?

That is an amazing ship. Can't believe they could squeeze all of that in there without looking squeezed. Did they offer a behind the scenes tour? That would have been what I would have wanted to see. Would love to see the guts of it all. Never been on a cruise, not sure I would want to, but it is an interesting option to travel. They definitely seem to have their act together with that amount of staff and passengers.
My wife and I have a 2 year old girl and was considering this cruise, her family of 8 or 9 will be attending also, seemingly it looks like it would be a decent time also some good adult time areas along with some family friendly areas, nice review @heynadine

How come? It’s pretty convenient but I guess not as convenient as buffet >.
