    Wouldn't it be more accurate to say *its the gradient in Temp. that causes Heat flow*? Thanks for the series, great stuff.

    isnt U the sum of KE and PE of the sys ????
    y not include the PE ???

      In this case there is no potential energy- the only energy of the system comes from the motion of all of the particles of the box!

    Our professor said that heat Q isn't energy, instead, it is a process like work. That's what makes me confused😶
