It makes me wonder why people like these think they have the cred to give "chances" to bands like Band Maid. They probably had a band when they were younger but never made it.
What kind of low IQ comment is this bro haha. Billions of people are living on this beautiful earth, each one with their own personal likings and motives. If they don't like it and you can't deal with it, then it might be you the one needing some mental health professional to assist you in order to learn to copulate with the idea that not everyone thinks the same. Hey, you might have ''a chance'' if you go now.
Having seen the Maids twice I can say they give 150 % to the fans . You will find yourself amazed , belly laughing , near tears and whatever else emotion can be drug up in a 2 hour show . In the end you will leave spent , happy and anxious for the next time you get to see them . This show was 3 . 5 hours and I think 33 song set list . 👍👍👍👍👍 for the Maids
There is a song with an extended drummer spot light. "Freedom" (Live), where she's the happiest drummer in the world. The song is less heavy, but it's been a staple of their live shows for years (no subtitles either). I don't think there is one where they "duel" and then she jumps in, but there are extended sections in a few others songs where she also gets a small turn, like Domination Live or the Instrumental Onset Live. She just tends to go nuts the whole song anyway, solo or not. You are correct that the duel section is added just for the live show and isn't on the album, they'll usually have a few sections like that at any concert.
I paid 700.00 for a day pass at WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE IN DAYTONA FLORIDA just to see Band-Maid. I walked away from The Cult playing Sanctuary while giving every other old fart band the finger, went back to the Hard Rock Hotel, had a beer, ordered a pizza, and listened to the surf with the joy of Band-Maid ringing in my ❤ I also saw them in Houston, and Denver😊
The Cult is one of my favorite bands. However, they're only okay as an album band. Live, they're not really that good, always playing songs so differently from the album version that it takes awhile for the audience to catch on, and the version they're playing sounds so different that you end up feeling cheated because it's not the version you're used to.
@@eatsmylifeYT Sonic Temple is one of my all time favorite albums. I saw them open for Metallica on the Justice tour and as soon as Fire Woman started, the crowd went insane, even more so than when Metallica opened with the song Blackened. They were very good live back then.
"WARRP GIVES BAND-MAID A SECOND CHANCE" ☺😊😀😁😂😃😄😅😆 You're funny... these girls don't need your cheap second chances, or the approval or validation of four "influential experts" in the music industry. THANX.😉
The only change I would make in your comment is "four" (wanna be) "influential experts". This wasn't a reaction at all. It was more of a four stooge comedy routine without the slap-stick. Not funny. Too many people suggest this song (and 4 or 5 other tracks) when Band Maid has such a diverse catalog of better tunes. It makes me wonder if the most of the Maidiacs have ever heard of any other songs. I listen to Band-Maid every day since 2018 and never get bored with any of their songs but HATE is beginning to get redundant when trying to support reactors. Oh well, I will still support anyone listening to Band-Maid as long as they like what they hear.
The MAIDIACS can be a little sensitive about our MAIDS. We take BAND-MAID and their music very seriously and expect others to do the same. I’ve seen hundreds of reactions to BAND-MAID’s music and these are the harshest responses I’ve ever seen to a public reaction. This is not at all typical. To the contrary, most reaction comments are a BAND-MAID love fest! Pease, my friends! When publishing a reaction it might be advisable to remember that every member of every band has fans that love them. One should always be respectful to all parties!!

Gentlemen, welcome to the best band on the planet. I grew up with the great bands of the 70's and 80's and these girls have become my all-time favorite band. Boys, these ladies are loved by the Maidiacs. Pay attention, talented beautiful Japanese girls are schooling you on how to rock.
Seen these ladies multiple times live and they are absolutely the best live band on the planet. The musicianship is on another level...not to mention their down to earth personalities. Great group of ladies.
Showing Off? BAND-MAID are not just some Noodle Meister Show Off Band. All their songs are great and different. They leave that sort of thing to LOVEBITES. However, if you want to see the drummer go nuts for 30 seconds check out 'Freedom' LIVE. She gets in on the action. With very few exceptions, the LIVE versions are the better versions of their songs. I can only think of a handful like, 'Shambles', 'Rinne' and 'Unleash' where the OMV is definitive version.
Old men are always afraid of new music. I know, I'm an older guy myself. When I discovered eastern rock & metal it ignited my old rock/metal heart. I love discovering new music!
"Corallium" live. IMHO, one of the best prog rock song, and some of the best performances of it, that I have heard over the last dozen or so years. ua-cam.com/video/9smDNUlvom4/v-deo.html
I'm 68 and started out in my teens listening to all kinds of genres of rock & roll, still do, and now along comes BAND-MAID and to quote The Boss "I'm ready to grow young again"! My Band-Maid playlist is now at 30 songs and growing. They're just a joy to listen to. Check out their documentaries on UA-cam, and yes FREEDOM (official live video) would be a great next song.
Thanks for the reaction and comments. "Freedom" and to a lesser degree "Domination" (both official live videos) have drum solos. But if you listen for it, you'll notice that Akane (drums) is extremely active throughout virtually all of their songs. Her fills, in particular, are extremely creative and tasty. Like Goldilocks, it's always just the right amount.
As a Japanese, a brief explanation about the lyrics. The lyrics of the song “HATE?” are not a song about a person's feelings in the face of social contradictions, nor about the beauty of love in a relationship between a man and a woman, nor about a person's longing for a partner in a relationship between a man and a woman. This song is about a relationship, but it is not a love song. The lyrics of this song are about a lover who has cheated on his girlfriend, “I never want to see your face again, don't you ever show up in front of me again!” The song sings. This “hate?” song is absolutely impossible for a male metal band to sing. It is also not appropriate for a beautiful female singer or a K-pop group. The song “hate?” can only be performed by a female band with a solid career and overwhelming performance ability. Incidentally, the lyrics are written by Saiki, the lead vocalist. And Kanami, the lead guitarist, composed the music.
Thank you for telling them so politely. This is, of course, obvious to most non Japanese listeners also. But, these guys here are a bit ... dense. Maybe because they are talking instead of listening and thinking.
It’s great to see the maids playing large venues like this but I feel they are really a club band at heart. I saw them last year at a relatively small club in Charlotte (sold out capacity of 700) and the up close and personal interaction with the crowd was just off the charts. These ladies really are something special.
The English bits are more for audience engagement, according to band interviews. They like their non-Japanese audiences to feel like they have something to engage with in the music, which is why the English parts are usually the more sing-songy hooks in the song. They have a couple songs all in English, and they usually do their MC breaks in English when they're in English-speaking countries. But they are pretty bad at English, and hilariously so (which they know and play up to maximum effect), so it is pretty endearing. These ladies are consummate entertainers! I don't even consider the costumes a gimmick, I consider them a theme. "Gimmick" usually has negative connotations, and I only use it to refer to bands that have to use it to make up for a lack of musical skill (looking at you KISS, lol). But these ladies have good enouogh musical chops to go toe-to-toe with the best in the business! I've been lucky enough to have seen them twice (Chicago in 2022, St. Louis in 2023). They are amazing live. Their shows are about 80% virtuoso musicianship, and 20% comedy show!
Welcome, Butcher, Jerzey, AJ and Ogre (again ;-). You guys are embarking on (along with many others - over 200 million YT views plus over 40 million reactor plays!) an awesome, progressive, hard-rock journey with 5 incredible women. Here's my intro blurb for those who may be new to Band-Maid:
BAND-MAID’s songs and sound beat with the heart and soul of all rockers. But you’ll also hear heavy influences of Prog, Punk, Metal and Pop, with nice touches of Blues, Jazz, Funk and Grunge. Sometimes they use multiple genres within the same song. Their Composition, Execution, Joy of Playing, Consistency (130+ songs), Uniqueness, Charisma, Charm and, oh yeah, Cuteness factor, position them as becoming the hard rock Beatles of our time! In other words, they’re destined for mega-stardom. Each member's personalities are super interesting and their musicianship among the best. Their writing, arrangements and overall sound, especially guitar tones and drums, are kick-ass! Having seen them LIVE, I can honestly say their performance, sound, stage appearance, and band synergy is off-the-rails spectacular! Band-Maid is the only band in decades where I love nearly EVERY song they’ve done. I have over 70 favorites! I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Don’t Let Me Down, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid. At 30 and the youngest, “Sensei” (Teacher) as band members call her, has the last word on many musical decisions. High-heels or sneakers, Sai-chan’s smile melts away her sometimes perceived, coldish persona. Saiki’s powerhouse performances, charisma, and voice focus the experience that’s driven her to the top echelon of hard rock frontwomen... or frontmen! Miku Kobato (Me-Ku) "Small Pigeon" - Rhythm guitar, vocals, lyricist, 32 years old. “Koba”, as Saiki calls her, is the Band founder and a firecracker MC & PR SpokesPigeon, po! Her “Magic Spell Time” charm and energy ignite the room. Kuruppo! No, no, no… KURUPPO!! Kanami Tono (Ka-Na-Me) “Princess” - Lead guitar, keyboards, 32 years old, is a prolific writer of most Band-Maid material. Kanami (translates “Song Wave”) is a possessed riff-slayer who’s so damn adorable it hurts. The only thing you want from Mincho is more! Akane Hirose (A-Ka-Nay) "Gorilla" - Drums, 33 years old, band energizer & co-clown with MISA. Achi’s talents include massive consumption of noodles and bananas, of course, (even during performance!) while revolutionizing rock drumming with relentless drive, dynamics and the kick. This “DrumZilla” is the Party! MISA (Me-Sa) "Barefoot Assassin" - Bass, 31 years old. An alluring free spirit driving her 5-string to rapturous low-ends while pulling off surprising counter leads with Kanami, off-stage MISA is the band’s goofball ballerina. The maid outfits are not their gimmick.......the music is their gimmick. Do you think we listen to this band because of the outfits ? If this is not your jam, so be it, but lose the arrogant attitude.
The comment wasn't meant to be "arrogant" it was meant to be a comment. As reactors, we make comments about things we see. We understand why this group is gaining popularity. They are very talented.
@@weaintraisedrightpodcast Well, I too thought you were arrogant .... It's what came across in the beginning .... Then Band Maid took over you, I hope....... Sorry if my perception is wrong ..... Note, They do what fits the song. That duel fits. The drummer coming in was not needed. Freedom has the drummer soloing if you want to see that.
The middle section is extended live, the studio version is the start and end of it only. Live they are forever changing things up, added extended intros, bass/ guitar 'duels', couple of songs the lead, bass, rhythm and drums all get a spotlight (Onset & Domination), full on drum solos are rare but happen occasionally and a few songs have had the intros changed multiple times. Added to this they never play the same set twice.
Welcome & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this very performance at the venue on Nov.26, last year. Very exciting 3-hour-40-minute-long show with 33-song setlist. (Happy fatigue thereafter 😄) Band-Maid is one of the best bands in our country, especially in live performance. We say "Japan is the country obsessed by Rock Music". The history is very long and the obsession started in 1966 when Beatles visited Japan and held 5 concerts at Budokan. Speaking of hard rock / heavy metal music, a number of bands started to come to Japan since as early as 1970s : Led Zeppelin / Grand Funk Railroad (1971), Deep Purple (1972), Queen (1975), Kiss (1977), Cheap Trick / Van Halen / Scorpions (1978), Judas Priest (1978/79) and so on. Now, any type of rock can be enjoyed here, especially by many all-female or women-fronted bands. They are daughters of American / European rock, for sure. (Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.) Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄
Guys nice reaction....in response to your comment about the drummer doing a solo there is a live video called Freedom.... however, in many other live versions the drummer Akane (gorilla is her nickname due to her fondness of bananas and hitting her drums really hard) she usually uses her drums to enhance the guitar (Kanami) and the bass (Misa) duels....she is always involved in these duels but only to amplify the other two instruments...and always with a wide smile! Thanks again for the reaction....and with Peace & Respect from Montreal.....PS - I have seen these ladies 4 times - twice in 2019 in New York City and in 2023 in New York City & Boston....the second time around they really impressed me by how much they had improved compared to their 2019 gigs....thanks!
Glad you gave the Maids a second listen. I remember watching your first reaction and didn't comment as you were getting bombarded by the "live requests" and add to the "stack of failure".😂 I've travelled far and wide to attend many of their Okyu-ji's ("Servings"), what they call their live concerts, both in the US and Japan. Smaller venues, large venues, it doesn't matter, they kill it. The energy is through the roof and the show is hella entertaining. Even the MC breaks are fun. If you have a opportunity, even if it's a little road trip, DO IT!!! It would be definitely worth it. As for the next song, I see my fellow Maidiac already is working on that. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
If you want to see what they can do instrumentally then checked out From Now On MV. There are a couple of MVs better than the live. Warning and Dice. Don't You Tell Me Live from this same show is a good watch. While the drummer doesn't do a solo during the battle, they are a vital player. Other great Lives are Play, Puzzle, Domination, Real Existence
When AJ was first to speak after the video and said, I liked it,” I was shocked. I figured he had checked out early 🤷🏻 “Freedom” is where his 30 seconds (literally) of drum feature is. I’m about your age here. I’ve gone out of my way to see Ozzy, Kiss, Van Halen, etc. But the most rewarded I’ve been after making a big effort is when I saw Band Maid live last year. They make the entire audience feel as if they wrote the song for you and that your chants and cheers make you the 6th band member. Don’t sweat the lyrics. Enjoy the melodies. In fact, I’d like to recommend one of their four instrumental tracks for you: “From Now On.” That’s the song that made me ignore the outfits and see them as the musicians and artists the truly are

I am 60, grew up with the great guitar rock of the 70's and 80's. These ladies are now one of my all time favorite bands. This gentlemen, what you are witnessing, is called talent. An awful lot of talent.
Next live song Don't You Tell Me, another bass and guitar battle.... Guys, check another all Japanese Heavy Metal/Rock Bands.... HANABIE songs We Love Sweets, Pardon Me, Girls Talk, Be The GAL.... ASTERISM(female guitarist) songs Dawn, Rising Moon, Lights In The Darkness, Church all songs with crazy guitar and 7string bass solos...
Yes, there is a longer drum solo in the official live of Freedom. FYI Jimmy Page saw them and love the drummer so much that he asked to meet her and called her the reincarnation of John Bonham.
There is another song from the same concert ("Don't You Tell") with a similar jam session, though the drummer plays in a similar fashion and doesn't go off. Dittos to the other mentions of "Freedom" live (drum solo) and "Domination" live with everybody taking a turn.
I saw them in Atlanta last May in a sold out theater of 1800. Kick ass show. There is a live version of Domination from several years back where they split the original song open for some jams to be passed around.
"Freedom" - The drummer has a sweet drum solo, one of the most melodic drum solos I've experienced. When Jimmy Page saw Akane Hirose playing drums a few years ago he went backstage to compliment her drumming and had his picture taken with her. Band-Maid has an odd but wicked sense of humor. The lead vocalist, Saiki Atsumi, wrote the lyrics after a friend caught her husband cheating on her. Saiki has a very dry, deadpan sense of humor and plays "straight man" to the lead and the rhythm guitarist during MC breaks. This video of "HATE?" was song 27 of 33 during a 3 and a half hour long concert they performed to celebrate their tenth anniversary working together. Yes, in almost every instance, Band-Maid is best experienced live, their recorded releases are just a starting point for their live performances.
"Onset" live is an instrumental that shows off a lil talent. I'm sure you all will like it as well. Soooo much more than some pretty girls in maid outfits ... very talented musicians/song writers. New Subby from Aust.
Many of theirs songs are best served live. Some are on a par with the studio version and I can think of maybe 2 where the live doesn't hit quite as hard as the recording.
This concert was the end of a big international tour. They played for three hours, doing 33 songs. They add extras to the live versions because they want to thank their fans for coming to the shows.
you guys cracked me up lol Ogre thanks for taking to time to transcribe the subtitles, good reaction I hope to see more Band-Maid on your channel. cheers
11:14 Onset Official Live video, Domination Official Live video. However, I will say that even when MISA and Kanami battle, A-Chan the 🦍 is still killing it.
Thanks for the reaction. That part where Butch said "they're just showing off" is actually telling you why there is so much hate. I'll give you a few hints and you guys go back and listen to it again, but this time FEEL the emotions of the instruments (Yes, they are that good). The base represents a man, The guitar represents a woman. When the guitar cuts in, did you notice the base player turn her head and acts surprised?
The lyrics is scolding cheaters. There's some rumours that Saiki got inspired, when a friend of hers experienced it. It happened during COVID, and got some attention in Japan.
I really enjoyed this reaction. Now, I have to ask, are you all the same dude playing different parts or, quadruplets? Either way, great job!! Looking for more Band Maid reactions.
Apparently some have issues with streaming high quality videos from YT, so some download the content, so it's a file resident on their hard drive, limiting the lag issues. When they do that, most programs will not download subtitles. So if they want the subtitles, they have to overlay the subtitles on the original download on their own.
During the 'conversation' between Kanami and Misa, Akane was smashing it on the drums in the backing, but for what you mean, maybe FREEDOM, FROM NOW ON, or ONSET will hit the spot?
"...and a small pigeon shall lead them!" TinyHat-san has given us BAND-MAID and took us to the Unseen World that leads to World Domination. They are the best live rock band on the planet.
@@weaintraisedrightpodcast well for starters you continued to fuck up their name like they are some garbage act that doesn't deserve the respect they have earned over the last decade. For me if you can't respect them then I'm out.
Keep calling them band aid and loose subscription I won't tolerate that kind of rhetoric stop being jerks or feel the Rath of the madiac army a battle you won't survive
Chill, dude. I'm also considering myself maidiac. Ofc, me also got bit annoyed. But in the end, them "approved" and that's a band they want to watch live.
You'll need to watch a few Twitch streamers and find out what kind of setups they use because your audio is horrible. I don't know if you'll need to invest in some better mic's or just learn how to set it all up properly. Video is okay (pretty washed out but passable) but the audio is garbage. It sounds like all of you are four rooms away in a small bathroom and you have your mic in a cupboard and are trying to talk into it through the shut cupboard door.
@@dimZhit Sorry, but I could not. I could have scrolled to the end and listened to their final verdict though. But, as they were so totally non serious - who cares?
We all have ADD, so we sometimes can't control ourselves. It sucks that you couldn't get past us just being who we are and that we enjoy things in our own way... just like everyone does.

I saw Band-Maid at Sonic Temple and the Cult was nowhere to be found there.
You are my hero thank you hope you don't mind I'm gonna use the old fart band if that's OK be well bm4ever
I swear, for a moment I thought all four of you were the same guy.
"WARRP GIVES BAND-MAID A SECOND CHANCE" ☺😊😀😁😂😃😄😅😆
You're funny... these girls don't need your cheap second chances, or the approval or validation of four "influential experts" in the music industry.

We agree with you, John. We are aware that every band member has their own set of fans. Thank you for your comment.
This is an excellent way to expose the band you love. To yell at people who are just starting to check them out.
Showing off was meant in a positive way, as in the drummer is showing off her skills.
Old men are always afraid of new music. I know, I'm an older guy myself. When I discovered eastern rock & metal it ignited my old rock/metal heart. I love discovering new music!
Same here !! All female rock bands but that's just me and japan has tons be well bm4ever
I flew from Australia to Tokyo to see Band-Maid on 10 May. Can say they go very hard; a wall of sound.👍 super impressive.
"Corallium" live. IMHO, one of the best prog rock song, and some of the best performances of it, that I have heard over the last dozen or so years.
ua-cam.com/video/9smDNUlvom4/v-deo.html
There is no song that is like Corallium. My number 1 Band-Maid song.
That and Sayanakidori from the same show
I'm 68 and started out in my teens listening to all kinds of genres of rock & roll, still do, and now along comes BAND-MAID and to quote The Boss "I'm ready to grow young again"!
The way she plays in almost every song is better than the solos in freedom and domination IMHO
Same story with MISA, being always busy...and her and Akane fight over the same tepid bowl of porridge apparently 😁
I don't think the girls need to do extended solos because in practically every song, everyone is given the chance to shine.
The drummer was playing when the "dual" was taking place. They know how to mix their songs.
The more you react to Band- Maid, the more you realize that real rock and roll resides in Japan.
If you refer to them as "Band Aid" at one of their concerts, no one will be responsible for what happens next.
Ok, good to know.
I really liked this one too
As a Japanese, a brief explanation about the lyrics.
"Thrill" (2014) is a great place to start: ua-cam.com/video/Uds7g3M-4lQ/v-deo.html Their songs from albums Unleash, Unseen World, Conqueror, World Domination, Just Bring It, Brand New Maid, and New Beginning drive even more - Hate?, Shambles, Influencer, Warning, No God, Different, Black Hole, Rinne, Blooming, Moratorium, Domination, Clang, Dice, Spirit, Don’t You Tell Me, Turn Me On, Fate, Play, Hide-And-Seek, Secret My Lips, Puzzle, Choose Me, I Can’t Live Without You, and on and on.
But don’t miss out on their powerful, beautifully written, mid-tempo songs like Daydreaming, Bestie, About Us, Memorable, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, At The Drop Of A Hat, Mirage and Smile... or more punky like After Life, Don’t Let Me Down and Screaming… or funky like Bubble… or bluesy like Manners and The Dragon Cries… or poppy like Start Over… or a bit jazzy like Wonderland… or progressive like No God, Giovanni, and Black Hole… or cultural like the Band-Maiko series… or instrumentals like From Now On, Don’t Be Long, Onset, Without Holding Back and Going Nuts… or their many acoustic versions like Catharsis and Sayonakidori... and last but not least, their Anime hits (AniMaid) like Sense, Glory and Unleash!!!!! (from their own Anime MV (series?)): ua-cam.com/video/7LB_EPS48HE/v-deo.html)
And many songs are represented with over 50 well produced music videos. ua-cam.com/users/BANDMAID
Most performances should be experienced from their LIVE audience & online OKYUJI concerts:

Shinkiba Studio Coast 2017 and other full concerts are on bandmaidprime.tokyo, bili, and official Band-Maid’s DVD/BD/CD.
And some of the better quality fan videos are excellent. Here’s two of what it’s like to see Band-Maid LIVE at an intimate venue:

If you like Band-Maid, make sure to support them by purchasing some concert tickets, live streams, CD, DVD/BD & merch, etc. bandmaid.tokyo
Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. I'll go back and see an older song like YOLO, Order, Shake That, Freezer, Don’t Let Me Down, Before Yesterday, Real Existence, Non Fiction Days and Alone, etc. and realize there's no band that can consistently construct and play like Band-Maid.

Band-Maid Members:
Saiki Atsumi (Sy-i-Key or Psyche) “StarQueen" - Lead vocals, arrangements and melodies.
Sometimes seen as the Mysterious One because she lets her instrument do the talking, the Assassin literally kills it… every note... uniting Band-Maid’s world-class rhythm section. A slug of JB, a slight grin, and let the slappin’ begin… MISA! MISA! MISA!
Maidiacs (Maid-e-acts) - Band-Maid’s crazed yet supportive, knowledgeable and loyal Super Fans.

@TomClark-Futoura yeah the Good Book of BandMaido!
Best live band I've seen in 20 years skilled not show offs and they write the music
Welcome & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this very performance at the venue on Nov.26, last year. Very exciting 3-hour-40-minute-long show with 33-song setlist. (Happy fatigue thereafter 😄)
Band-Maid is one of the best bands in our country, especially in live performance. (Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.)
Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄
Jazz Revengers are a favorite of mine
Love seeing a Band-Maid turn-around. It's one of my favorite things. That, and a tiny hat.
When AJ was first to speak after the video and said, I liked it,” I was shocked. I figured he had checked out early 🤷🏻
“Freedom” is where his 30 seconds (literally) of drum feature is.
In fact, I’d like to recommend one of their four instrumental tracks for you: “From Now On.”
That’s the song that made me ignore the outfits and see them as the musicians and artists the truly are
AJ here, and yes, I did enjoy this song. I think this group is really good, I'd like to see more songs of theirs!

Next live song Don't You Tell Me, another bass and guitar battle....

NEMOPHILA live songs ZEN, AMA TE RAS, Seize The Fate, Rise, Revive, Dissension, Raitei...all songs with 7string dual guitars solos..
HANABIE songs We Love Sweets, Pardon Me, Girls Talk, Be The GAL....
ASTERISM(female guitarist) songs Dawn, Rising Moon, Lights In The Darkness, Church all songs with crazy guitar and 7string bass solos...
THE best Hard Rock band on Earth. Think that covers everything.
Wow, the thumbs up from Jimmy Paige? Quite the endorsement for sure!
@@weaintraisedrightpodcast Just Google: Jimmy Page Akane Hirose
"Onset" live is an instrumental that shows off a lil talent. I'm sure you all will like it as well.
Soooo much more than some pretty girls in maid outfits ... very talented musicians/song writers.
New Subby from Aust.
Many of theirs songs are best served live. Some are on a par with the studio version and I can think of maybe 2 where the live doesn't hit quite as hard as the recording.
Three that I can think of where the MV is better than the live (in my opinion) are "Thrill", "Dice" and "Different". Possibly "Warning" too.
@@Davey-Boyd Good list. Agreed.
Yep. Band Maid MUST be live, every time. Suggest Freedom or Domination for instrumental fun.
I’ve seen them live 4 times and wish that number was a whole lot higher. Waiting impatiently for them to return to the US.
They start touring again this month. "The Warning" opens for them. They are scheduled to be in all the major festivals this Summer
This concert was the end of a big international tour. They played for three hours, doing 33 songs. They add extras to the live versions because they want to thank their fans for coming to the shows.

"Freedom" live. Best timed solo I've witnessed in 35years.

Saiki singing those lyrics is definitely causing some shuffling in the seats 😂😂
I'm sure they are.
Song is about my ex husband, my favorite part was the showing off of the guitars.
The studio version of Dice has a good drum and bass introduction.
I'm confused what's going on with those subtitles? The official video already has subtitles.
Apparently some have issues with streaming high quality videos from YT, so some download the content, so it's a file resident on their hard drive, limiting the lag issues. When they do that, most programs will not download subtitles. So if they want the subtitles, they have to overlay the subtitles on the original download on their own.
You've got it exactly right. It's a lot more work that way but it helps some with the lag.
@@weaintraisedrightpodcast I understand
During the 'conversation' between Kanami and Misa, Akane was smashing it on the drums in the backing, but for what you mean, maybe FREEDOM, FROM NOW ON, or ONSET will hit the spot?
"...and a small pigeon shall lead them!"
TinyHat-san has given us BAND-MAID and took us to the Unseen World that leads to World Domination. They are the best live rock band on the planet.
yes, good drum solo in "Freedom" live.
I honestly don't know why people need drum solos, what Akane does in many songs is way beyond the solo in Freedom, that's easy for her.
Because people like drum solos?

I didnt make it more than 15 seconds. The disrespect was enough for me.
Well, we thank you for the comment. But, what "disrespect" are you referring to?
@@weaintraisedrightpodcast well for starters you continued to fuck up their name like they are some garbage act that doesn't deserve the respect they have earned over the last decade. For me if you can't respect them then I'm out.
@@rizeagle33well, bless your heart.
I think she's singing about you guys LOL
Keep calling them band aid and loose subscription I won't tolerate that kind of rhetoric stop being jerks or feel the Rath of the madiac army a battle you won't survive
Maidiac army? Is that what the fans call yourselves?
Well, you are the first to say any of that....we, thank you for your time, comment, and view.
Ugh... Go back to your 50 views each videos. The quadruplets don't deserve another chance.
Your comment is confusing.....care to elaborate?
一人四役っすか
Huh?
Ooooooo .... that was an annoying reaction! I got to 9:10 and then .... gave up.
You should watch it till the end. Them said it is a band they want to watch live. So basically they "approved"
@@weaintraisedrightpodcast You cannot hide behind an acronym. If it is bad entertainment, it is bad entertainment. And this was really bad entertainment.
Sometimes people are just shitty. You can't hide behind anything. You're just shitty.
Boring reaction. Skipped.
Thanks for the comment and view!!
I really hope you 4 guys don't react to any more Band Maid music !!!! Your attitude absolutely sucks !!!!
Thanks for the view
Around 9 minutes the one all in black jammin' has man arms and hands, no?

@@stimproidGotta be a troll, there just aren't that many guys so insecure about their own masculinity that they'd ANNOUNCE it to the internet outside of their safe zones.
Apparently a limp gymnast.
They can play at this level for 2 or 3 hours.
