I don't think Peter does himself any favors, he does yammer on and if we analysed the spoken time of each participant Peter would have over 75%. I've noticed in this video that he seems to get to a point where anyone else would have finished speaking as they have made their argument, yet he just continues on until hes challenged.
I would get frustrated interviewing him if i disagreed with anything he put forward as it seems like it would be difficult to respond without having to cut in.

the interruptions are useful though as they reveal the script for NWO takeover. He said it could be a good thing to crash the economy. In any normal world you would be sacked for that if a labour mayor can be sacked for saying Boris deserves a spell in hospital. Both comments are spiteful. This bloke goes on to say the High street is dying anyway. Really ? He doesn't live in London then. The immigrant population who have revived our high streets are seeing their livelihoods thrashed for the NWO. If it was not for polish and asian food shops we would be at the mercy of the NWO crooks like tax fraudsters Tesco

John Bossy you’re not accounting for the likely far larger number of deaths caused by the aftershocks of this lockdown. The mental health problems caused by social isolation are enormous (which is why solitary confinement is now illegal and a human rights violation in U.K. prisons) lead to increased suicides. The number of jobs lost from the inevitable recession will cause people to lose their livelihoods and their raison d’être and we know all recessions cause a spike in self harm and suicides as well. Not to mention that the government won’t be able to afford proper healthcare for the nhs in the future because of the economic catastrophe caused by this so people will not get the care they need in the future and subsequently die

Its ludicrous to think that this is achieving anything else other than the ruination of our country. 1452 died on average EVERY day last year...did you call for special measures then? How about the winter with 20,000+ excess mortalities...did the NHS stop treating other illnesses? Did you ask for a lockdown then? Something has to give. Without an economy we could end up with the privatised healthcare system many people already fear. You're stating that potentially 100,000's could die. Could. Efforts would be made to alleviate that. If the economy crashes it will effect millions not hundreds of thousands. That's where being a leader and making hard decisions comes into play. @@NobleVenture77 Firstly, I note that you have refused to answer the question in my earlier post where I asked if you agreed with the two statements in bold text.
Next, you say that Hitchens has not said the policy of social distancing is unnecessary. You used the word 'wrong' whereas I used the term, 'unnecessary' when I said in my previous post, the one you responded to, "You seem to believe with your independent thinking that Hitchens has researched the subject and believes that social distancing is unnecessary." Let's get that ironed out, I did not use the term, 'wrong', I used the term 'unnecessary' .. a minor point but best to clear that up now.
Anyway, Hitchens has certainly said exactly that, i.e. that it is unnecessary and so has the "expert" he bases his views on, Prof. Bhakdi. I disagree with them both on this issue as do many epidemiologists, The Lancet and other scientists and doctors around the world.
Dealing with Hitchens' comments, Mike said in the video that social distancing appears to be working. Hitchens said in response, "There are two points there." He mentions the police having greatly moderated their behaviour since the intervention of Lord Sumption recently, and I agree that some forces have indeed been too officious on at least several occasions. Hitchens asks why is it that supermarkets can remain open while garden centres can't! (A quite unbelievable and ridiculous question! I suppose I'll have to explain why I say this ... garden centres don't sell that essential commodity which keeps us all alive, i.e. food and often, ... medicines!)
Then he says, "There's certainly another fundamental question which does totally need to be examined. First of all, is this action effective? Is there any evidence whatsoever that it is effective? And the answer is, ... no." He carries on ...
"If you look at all of the countries which have experienced Covid-19 outbreaks from China (names about 14 countries) ... you will not find a pattern which suggests that shutting down the economy and restricting personal freedom actually reduces any deaths at all."
Along with what he has said here, Hitchens believes in what Bhakdi has so strongly said .... see below where I have transcribed the pertinent points he has made on this issue.
Well, having made it perfectly clear that Hitchens does indeed see that social distancing is unnecessary, I'm hoping you will now see my point and admit that he does see it as unnecessary.
You say, _"I know he has looked into the research of Prof. Dr. med. Sucharit Bhakdi which if you visit his you tube page and click the translate option you will get the gist of his concern; that human rights are severely being breached, doctors basically now have a license to do what they want, and the damaging effects on the economy will cause untold suffering on human kind. Is this really a policy that puts people first?"_
I have already and many days ago, researched what Bhakdi has said along with what The Lancet has said on social distancing. Bhakdi said in his video, *_"Does the virus generally cause more serious illness also in young people and kill patients with no concurring illness? This would make them different from other everyday corona viruses of the world. The answer is clearly: NO!"_*
Actually ... the answer is clearly: YES! That is a proven statistic ... a fact. Covid-19 has killed people with no underlying health issues as well as young people with no underlying health issues. He is wrong, and there is NO doubt of that whatsoever.
This so called "expert" who Hitchens appears to trust is clearly wrong if numerous data compiled by numerous experts is to be relied on. It has already been seen that people with no underlying health issues have died from Covid-19. Also, there are many reports of young people and with no underlying health issues dying from it. In another part of the video, Bhakdi states, *_"We urgently need to know whether the virus has already spread to the general population because should this be the case any attempt to halt its further spread would obviously be senseless."_* Senseless? Of course it has spread to the general population, hence the need for the measures introduced by almost every country ... including, social distancing and so called lock downs.
If you say you can't see the stupidity in both of these statements made by Bhakdi, I simply don't believe you.
On social distancing, here is a clip from The Lancet published on March 23rd, 2020. _"In the absence of any pharmaceutical intervention, the only strategy against COVID-19 is to reduce mixing of susceptible and infectious people through early ascertainment of cases or reduction of contact."_

Saturnine Pedantic, splitting hairs ! Actually I am a true Briton as confirmed by tracing my ancestry back. One hour a day is an infringement on my liberty. I can’t even get my shopping in or walk my dog in an hour. I also have loved ones I would like to spend time with and I would like to see my young grandchildren before they forget who I am. Before you start saying we’ll use technology, I can’t cuddle my kids or play physically with my grandkids using technology well not in any meaningful way anyway.

"I don't think he has got any answers". Well he talked about the trade off between safety and livelihood; the disproportionality of government action, the harm done to civil liberties; and he may have mentioned many unintended consequences like production lines being disrupted, people being depressed at home, people not getting enough vitamin D because they don't see the sun much, and all the future deaths which poverty will bring, due to the government locking down the economy so heavily. You, on the other hand just accept (together with the kitchen sink) WHATEVER the government tells you. When massive inflation soon hits the country because of unbacked new currency (created out of thin air) and we experience massive inflation, you will understand that the lockdown and bailouts only made a bad situation much worse. Government doesn't have any money -in fact, it already OWES MONEY- so for every penny it spends, it will collect more than a penny; either by taxes, borrowing or currency debasement.
Please go study some Austrian school of economics; and learn about things like the structure of production, central banking, the Austrian Business Cycle Theory, marginal utility and opportunity cost, as well as Monetary History.
You should also watch Mike Maloney's The Hidden Secrets Of Money series on UA-cam, and the financial film called "The Bubble" (made last year), to fast enlighten yourself on questions of economics and liberty.
    Kind regards.

There would have been a greater justification for doing so back then. Today, with an advanced healthcare system and greater awareness, we have much better outcomes. News reports seem less keen on highlighting the fact that the vast majority of people who contract COVID-19 will recover between 14-21 days. One healthcare resource said death is rare-- which it is. While we are certainly grieved by the loss of life in Italy and Spain, we cannot allow emotion to cloud our reason during this panic.
