I've had the same issue since last season. Sent a couple tickets and they said they were aware of the issue and compensation would be issued. Of course, nothing happened. I had the issue again this season and no compensation ever arrived...
I'm a new player (like 4 months old). And this problem occured to me recently. I thought it was a cheat, because my opponent coincidentally spamming emotes at the beginning 😂. Still frustrating.
Do not give shit to those emotes bro.. if a person starts sending emotes just after you finalize your attacker or defender, they want you to get confused, lose momentum and make mistakes.. many PPL do this😅
I can feel your frustration man, i nearly tried to bend my phone in anger bcoz of these issues continuously but everytime i remembered that my phone is not free 🥺.
Im hating battlegrounds... had a bug yesterday both champs just running on the spot until the timer went and even then they carried running towards each other 😑 couldn't even pause or exit i had to close the app and ended up losing 😑

I just stop running BG cuz on every 2 to 3 fight game crash 2 come back in with 30 or lower time left 2 fight .. really don't need da stress n headache with dexterity , parry n even block n sp attack not registering .
Dude, exact same thing happened when I was choosing my attacker.. Connection problems.. ended up with Peni as attacker for Omega Red instead of hercules.. last fight.. I had awakened galan as defender and him with HM as attacker.. glad my galan managed to get him to 9% health.. I won by 2.000 point margin because even though I finished the fight in 117s I had way more health than him. F U Kabam..
And that''s why I don't play at high tiers anymore... Game broken... AQ, AW, BGs full of bugs and weird AI in all modes... The revives nerf was the last drop... I've never felt sooo relieved after I stopped with this game...
I stopped playing bgs because this happens to me every 3 or 4 fights... happening in war and aq also..when you log back in your champ is at half health and opponent still 100% health 🤬

In this season there are definitely lesser cheaters than the previous season but server issues become way worse somehow.

Considering BG is the new and interesting content in the game, it baffles me they don't prioritize more power to get it fixed.
