from the looks of your ad metrics, the ads must not be very good. generally if you get clicks but no ad to carts = bad product. if you get clicks and ATC but no sales = bad website or sale funnel. and if you have bad ad CTR (like 1.5% or lower) high CPM (10$+), and high CPC (.50$+) = bad ad creative. hope this helps (:

I have a suggestion as i've been dropshipping for a while, try stick to ONE PRODUCT NICHE since you admit that you're still in your learning phase. This makes it easier for you to gather as much information about the potential buyers in that product niche before you switch to a different product niche as the conversion criteria sometimes varies significantly.

I started the same way, following a course (that was very expensive), to make one product stores and boh only got me a sale each. i think the products were ok but I believe my selection is much better now. I know people love the idea of a branded store taking them to the next level but I think the ad creative is more important than that (what I was told by a mentor), I know only run one general store and am just continuously testing. I have hit 7 sales on one product (which is crazy to me), but its still tough when I am having lots of products fail and not do well even though I think the creatives are decent. I think getting an agency account will help you in the long run, apparently they convert better and they help you with bans, managing your account etc. Keen to see what you make of this as I am in the same stage, waiting to find my first real winner. Tiktok got a primarily younger audience with around 43% being between the ages of 18-24, the wrinkles and tightening product wouldn't work as well due to the fact that fewer people within that target market will need it as how many young ppl do u know who have wrinkles? and as for the shower thing, again the audience primarily is younger so they likely won't be investing in these tools to improve their bathroom quality of life as they'll be spending it on impulse buys that provide immediate gratification, around 32% of tiktoks market is 25-34 but u also gotta think, how often do these people even buy anything from tiktok? Especially if it's a quality of life improvement product or something that modifies your skin, they'll likely get these things from furniture stores, pharmacies and doctors, hope this helps!

The problem with selling "winner products" on tic toc is a hit and miss and a short lived glory. People should focus in building strong brands through innovation and stop relying on the quick flip. It took me 20 years to achieve sustainable goals and the grind continues. There is no shortcut to success. Before you win you most likely fail several times.

If people are not watching your whole video or commenting they end up charging you a lot and you lose. For the second one, that niche(face skin care) has been one of the best ones in the past and now big companies put in money and people can get those types of products everywhere so, selling it online can work but it can"t be easy. But man if you find a good product, you will make a lot of cash

I am trying dropshipping too, until today without success. I do believe it works, but what I do believe too is that you are not getting the key points that turn your business profitable teached in a course or on youtube. I mean from the perspective of the „gurus“ it would not make sense to share with you the „real“ knowledge, because they make money in teaching you. The longer they can teach you some „new“ concepts the more money they get.
I do not say, that these courses are not valuable, they teach the basic idea and concepts, but I think you have to think on your own and make your own way.

In my humble opinion though, I think the problem is with the products. The first product is not interesting enough especially for tiktok, which you figured out yourself. The second product seems to complicated to explain, and I am sure people have seen something similar before, and it has lost its wow factor.

For example the washing handle and the skin care product. In my opinion are adult products , and i think you know , that the audience on tiktok is from 12+ to 23/23 mayority. So it´s difficult that people of that age gets interested in that kinf of product. As you said at the end. You need to think that the people you are selling it. For example 15 years old maybe would like video games stuff or technology stuff. And then find a product related to that. I want this to work but all I'm seeing are vids for the 1/2% of guys who are making really good money. The clear impression is "you to can do this!" Pfft Nope. Thanks so much for this vid and your honesty- you've been working hard on this.

Honestly the way you design your websites is great. Nothing to say about that. I was in a similar position where you are now. What really helped me is looking for products that can be marketed using the “Life Force 7”. Drew eric whitman wrote about them in his book Cashvertising. Has been a big game changer for me. Then, once the products are found, write a product description that triggers emotionally, using the Life Force 7 again.
even though many people say product saturation does not exist, it is definitely easier to market a product if is fresh. Thats why I always check what stage the market is in, and if its trending.
Big up the hard work. With this consistency it only takes 1 good product to pop and start making some money 👊🏻

Great video! I wasn't a fan of the first product, but the second one most certainly had the wow factor and the website looked great. I personally would have stuck with that product and worked on my ad (creative/copy) and landing page. I would have also targeted influencers as well. I know it's easy for me to say, but rarely are stores profitable on the first go-the money is in the follow-up. Stay patient! If it was easy and immediately profitable, then everyone would be doing it.

So something I noticed is the price point. Its very hard to scale with something that has a profit under $20. This doesn't mean its impossible to sell those types I personally found it much harder. Add upsells and product bundles which can increase AOV. Stores actually looked great tbh but hold back on as seen on big places where they actually arent seen on those places, people will realize and not trust your brand for the long term.

People are forgetting that the luck is the most important factor in everything you do. It is not that research criteria is not enough for finding a winner, you just did not have much luck. People have found winners(even among some garbage products) even with much less effort because they got lucky.
Somebody gets lucky on the first try, somebody on the 5th, somebody on 100th. That is life sadly...

Should be running these ads for minimum a week to see if there is potential, tweaking interests as you go. Will get nowhere taking a pot shot at ads for a day. Frankly you were lucky to get a single sale. If you don't ahev the budget you may be better trying to go viral on tik tok with a product.
Also the products weren't great. First one looked gimmicky and second one looked scummy. No matter how good your sites are and how professional they make a product seem, of the products seem gimmicky or scummy.........well, it's game over.

I love how dedicated you are. You seem to not get put off by not seeing any returns and you still keep going whilst investing money. Here is one thing I would maybe consider: Before testing each product and quickly moving on to the next one I would maybe think each product through more and decide if TikTok is even the right place to advertise it. Like you said the faucet was definitely not meant for TikTok and would definitely do better on facebook. I think you may have learned this lesson but wanted to point it out because you can save a lot of time and money if you properly think about each product beforehand. GReat videos though and keep it up!

  • @eprep9745

Hey I think the problem wasn’t your ads or your website or the product itself but it just wasn’t a good match. For example the people that you’re going to have seeing your advertisement on tick-tock very young and even if they are older for example 20-year-olds or 22-year-olds they probably still live at home with their parents which means even though your product is interesting a 20-year-old who lives at home with their parents isn’t going to buy a faucet no matter how cool it looks.

Bro i would first start with a few campaigns on fb of “view content” once I get enough of those I’d pas to “add to cart” campaign. And only than a purchase ad. You gotta understand that in most cases to begin with a purchase campaign won’t bring any result and will just be very costly as you could see. Start with view content campaign and the cos tower click will be most likely no more than 0.3. You need a lot of visitors to build effective data on Facebook which will be very costly with purchase ads that don’t convert. The cheapest way to “teach” Facebook about your audience is buy startingwith VC campaign. Hope that helps. Know that getting to a profitable point takes time and learning. It’s not all about your product and in most cases even a winning product takes time to make sales until you out it in front of the right people :)

for the faucet the problem could’ve been the cost of it. since the price of 22 dollars was low considering a faucet from walmart cost around 30 dollars it didn’t come off as a premium product which is what the shop represents. in my opinion i think you shouldve tried increasing the price slowly maybe should’ve add 5 to 10 extra and see if that increase a costumers desire to buy

Is it because he is a good guy and just wants to "help"? Haha. Use your brain.

All the people I know who use tiktok, still live with mum and dad. They don't need to buy a faucet.
Target your audience, you're looking for homeowners who spend money, and like gadgets. Your next task is the hard one, you need to where to find em.
    ----
Also, and I'm being pretty pedantic here, but I'm just offering tips here, and a new perspective.
The colour scheme on the second site didn't look so good. And it was a bit of a turn off. Similarly, it went on a bit too long. I feel like a better format, and some company logos on the product would do much better.
But that doesn't mean you've failed, you haven't. You've learned what doesn't work, and now you can concentrate on find a new approach. The path to success is not straight forward, and you only learn from this. So I'd say you did really well.
    Did you make money? No.
Did you go down the right path to get there? Yes.
So okay you didn't make money, but this is what we do. We dare to fail to gain rewards others don't dare to chase.
    You got this bro!
