I know what you mean with the harbor freight manual tire changer, it's worth the price for breaking the beads but tire removal not so much. I'd with till the cvt shows up. Could possibly drill new holes in the cvt mounting plate to rotate it to a different angle or may have to space the motor plate up some.
My biggest question is will the torque converter head fit on that short shaft? As for location it looks like it's going to require some frame modification no matter what.
I’m not sure either. Luckily I have machinist friends. I may extend the 3/4 shaft or bolt on an adapter to give me a longer 1” shaft. Whatever the fix is it better be cheap because a new motor is only a hundred bucks.
I believe a patch kit is at my parents house. I’m not going there with the whole quarantine situation and I didn’t want to spend money on fresh rubber cement, but I have this tube sitting around for free which is holding air.
