    I've been very fortunate, to come across this plugin. On that day I said to myself and to the world-"This is the way". And I stand by it!! Live long and prosper. 🖖

    Amzin video! And for the plugin there's no need for any comment at all. It's so subtle, but so realistic.. Thank you Joe!

    Excellent demo of a great Reverb. I've got the Relab LX480 Essentials for free when I'd bought a Pulsar bundle last Christmas. Don't think for a minute the Essentials version is weak, it's very good in its own right. The dual engine though, wow.
    Yep, on my wishlist. In fact I've got that discount offer...😮

      Follow-up I did buy the dual engine V4. I like the concept of doing 2 distinct reverb or delay like sounds with a single dual engine plug-in instance. My opinion it's worth it.

    5:45 With V3, you could load both those presets with one plugin and the CPU usage is much less with V3. With V4 you cannot load both of those presets he is using with just one instance of V4. you have to 'stack them' and the CPU usage is greater.

    Great! Try to stack LX480 for the Ambience/Plate build up and SONSIG REV A for the longer tail reverb (like 15 seconds sometimes). Amazing results. It will overcome the original device 480L in terms of possibilities and headroom by far. Which is fair enough for the 21th Century. Keep up the Excellent Work! Best, Nuno

      Great suggestion! - you can also use Random Hall HD in 32-bit and remove any other output modelling - PLUS go into dual engine for Dual HD. Try that in place of Sonsig in that instance and you might be pleasantly surprised :)

      @@RelabDevelopment Thank You 🙏
      I use RELAB LX480 and RELAB Sonsig REV A in two different track Buses. These two plugins are running in parallel mode. Actually I am running Random Hall HD already in 32 bits because that is an improvement over the original 480L hardware. I will check which mode of Dual Mode I am using though.
      But there is something special about RELAB Sonsig REV A to work as a complement for LX480 (use both at same time). It cames out in the mix without needing to use a gain reduction compressor like I did with other reverb plugins (so the tail of the reverb appears only when I end up a phrase or stop playing according to the compressor threshold).

      @@joaonuno439 gotcha! very nice - yes Rev-A was meticulously hand-tuned for every setting over years. And the Ensemble modulation is something else (dual pitch plus phase mod) - smooooooth as silk when you need it :)

    Why cant you load your "favorite patches" on both engines ? Seems like I was able to load 2 separate patches on V3

    Relab Development makes amazing products. My only complaint is that they are CPU intensive.

  • @Fwuzeem
    @Fwuzeem Рік тому

    So dual engine means you get two versions of the plugin at the same time? What's the difference in just loading two up at the same time?

    • @DeltaWhiskeyBravo13579
      @DeltaWhiskeyBravo13579 8 місяців тому

      It means you can have 2 distinct different reverbs at once. Engine one and two also can be internally routed in 4 different ways, different per L/R I think, dual mono, series, parallel.
      My current fave is twin delay engine 1, Random Hall HD reverb on 2, routing stereo. I edited a preset to dial in the pre delay, high and low rolloff a bit.

  • @michaelft78
    @michaelft78 2 роки тому +1

    So I’m a bit confused…. Is this two reverbs within one instance or two instances of two separate reverbs. I thought that with two engines you could do this under one roof.

    • @RelabDevelopment
      @RelabDevelopment  2 роки тому +2

      Two instances in one - E1 and E2 in the Dual-Engine

    • @DeltaWhiskeyBravo13579
      @DeltaWhiskeyBravo13579 Рік тому +1

      What you're seeing in part was Joe C had version 3 which was not dual engine and he'd already mixed that prior, but then he's using v4 which is dual engine to demo. Dual engine meaning 2 instances within one unit. They can be configured 3 ways if you want both working at the same time, but there's 4 total choices with that one being choosing between 1 or 2 individually. Each has separate settings.
