In order to align the faces along the axis, it is not necessary to rotate the crystal, it is enough to choose the orientation according to the normals.

yeah, you're right, it's a better way. We explain the orientation in the following lessons so as not to overload newcomers with new concepts and tools

Very nice job! But I can't grab the reason why just not do the whole render out of Blender. What is the advantage of this workflow ? Looking forward for your next video

Thanks! Simply, many people are more familiar with After Effects and aren't familiar with its new 3D features. For animations that are not too complex like this, AE offers an easier learning curve for beginners. While Blender is wonderful, it requires more advanced knowledge for a full production workflow to achieve the same polished result. Anyway, after rendering, we will need DaVinci/AE/Nuke for post-production. This hybrid approach lets designers use tools they're comfortable with while exploring new 3D possibilities, learning animation, and compositing

btw, I really believe that knowing AE can be valuable for animators who don't need complex 3D. I've had cases where I needed a 3D scene or scene that looked like 2D - in one evening I could create a nice environment matching the reference illustration that worked perfectly with other project elements. If I'd tried making it in Cinema4D or Blender, it would have taken much more time to build the scene, wait for renders on a slow GPU, and composite with 2D elements. In practice, we often have tasks that need quick results, and this workflow really helps with that!

This whole thing could have been done out of blender. This just seems like a good cashgrab attempt for their own paid resources.
