  • Want to improve your home's curb appeal? Check out this curb appeal before and after reveal of an exterior renovation we recently completed. A few small changes such as removing a dated feature (the brick arches) and replacing the door made the home look modern and fresh. We even recycled the brick on this project!

    What ashame that they couldn't salvage the arches, that's what made the home. The home had class before, now it's just like the rest of the modern homes, nothing special a whatever home. I don't understand why people think that modern is prettier or better. The color is pretty, and it would have looked prettier with the original architectural.

      The arches were collapsing, and could not be salvaged. Also, this homeowner preferred a more modern take on the overall design aesthetic.

      @johnmeigs719 you’re not wrong. One must definitely consider how the colour you select will impact your home’s performance. In this case, with the attached garage at the front the heat absorption was not a concern.
