It really did feel like the most tranquil game in the series. There’s an insane level of charm to it that is only rivaled by 2 and Brotherhood before the engine switch happened… Rogue just ups the visual appeal and maintains that strange yet welcome familiarity that you develop with each region you visit. Truly a great AC game.
Which is pretty Ironic given how torn emotionally and mentally Shay was throughout the Game. The guilt he felt for Lissabon and how it ripped him apart on the inside when he killed his brethren
Even the ship sailing here is more enjoyable than Black Flag. Each and every time you start sailing in black flag, storms appear just a few minutes later and just ruin the tranquility...
Though I Love Shay Cormac as Character I really think that Rogue should have been Haytham’s Game. Depicting him growing up and then coming to America found a Templar Rite there and wiping out Achilles Brotherhood. The Game should culminate with Haytham killing Birch in London, instating Jenny as Grandmistress of the British Rite, paying his respects to Edward’s Grave and explaining how he feels about the Assassin and Templar War and why he still sides with the Templars
And at the end after ending credits we see Connor reading Haytham diary and had peace with his Father how he later regret killing him. That would be great end Kenway Saga.. but they Made a new Character of Shay Cormac and connects to Unity instead ..
@@naxionkryelight951 They still could have connected it by having Haytham be the one who kills Arno’s Father on a quick Mission in France before returning to America to deal with Connor
@@naxionkryelight951 But I agree it would be perfect for the Credits to be Haytham’s Diary and end with Connor closing it and making peace with his Family’s History while looking out of the Window watching his own Family
North Atlantic is top 5 AC maps for me. Nothing but vibes

was.
before he become templar. even in the end he had clear mind, unlike haytham.
My first AC game. It really did something to help create a nostalgic atmosphere, while getting a unique introduction to the series.
the footing sound design was snappy too!
Yes, tranquility can be achieved when the game is effectively playing itself.
i guess that is a fair point
its not quantic dream game, though
Except that stalkers come to ruin your tranquility every so often...

This game is very relaxing.
That is until you get the mission with the destroyed city.
May the father of understanding guide u

I think the ending should be against Connor following some overlapping events with AC3 from Haytham's perspective.
