Legal arguments aside, as a practicing MD, I can remind people to the fact that in the early 2000s we had an epidemic of bulemia and anorexia among pediatric population. It was all over the news, and it was instigated by the media and schools and academia, and pediatricians at that time were overwhelmed by eating disorders among their pts. Now we have the same scenario with gender dysphorias, etc.
Caloric and protein restriction is a poor person's low level gender transition. I know I deployed this method and didn't grow an inch past 12.5 which is what I wanted. I was later castrated and take low dose estrogen and did it to blunt my secondary sex characteristics. I look nothing like the males in my family who look ravished by Tanner progressions and are all bald, be speckled, with bellies and poor health like high cholesterol, blood pressure, and triglycerides . I go to the batting cages and people think I'm still in high school when I'm 48. It's a nice life and those who want to take it from us may find a similar fate as those healthcare CEO's who want to deny services.

Not specifically, no. If it is ruled you can’t ban the treatments for minors then it is hard to see how you could ban it parental consent or not based on the arguments in favor of overturning the ban.
The point is: the trans lobby wants to abolish sex as a category, and wants ONLY gender identity. If the court fails to uphold the Tennessee law, there will be a precedent to deny women and girls the right to single sex spaces and services (because sex is NOT real or valid). This means: women's sports will not be based on sex, just "gender identity." Males identifying as women will be allowed in any and all women's previously single sex spaces/services.
We're never going to accept this historical medical malpractice.

The geo political is absolutely pathetic.
Are we talking about treatments with or without parental consent here?
