The box has a sticky note saying "Cleaned 4-10-05," and it only had two boxes checked, and the video is very clear, confirming very few uses. Besides, it wasn't uncommon for tape cleaners to reuse old masters anyway -- i.e. I have a 2004 Scotch cleaner elsewhere on my channel, and there is another YT posting of the same cleaner format -- from 1995. Of course, this could have been from 1999 and used in 2005. Of special note is the SuperDisk, introduced in 1997 and discontinued in 2003.

Maybe they made the music scary, so you wouldn't want to go near the VCR while the tape is cleaning.
This is the tape I had, I only remember it going for 2 cycles though, and then you had to rewind it.
