84 hours a week I’m guessing, making that 12 hours a day. I’m surprised there aren’t more comments on these awful working hours.
it's 13 days not 4... just look at the dates on the ipad. 24-ku no hanako-san is a monthly release so Akihito has more freedom over his working schedule
its awful if you dont like your job, but hes clearly enjoying himself
its not a week its a month
it about 12-13 days, sensei once said about his work schedule, roughly 2 pages one day.
It is true that the hours of work to make manga are usually very tight and overwhelming but in the case of Yoshitomi Akihito he does it because he likes it otherwise he would not have the time to upload these videos as he does regularly

This was really awesome! I love these videos of drawing pages. Would love to see the footage from this broken up into multiple, 20+ minute videos so we could see more of the process, similar to how you've done in a previous series. Still this was great to watch!

I wish I knew what kind of clips those are when he traces over his rough lineart on his manga/comic boards for easier inking. Those don't look like bank clips; if they are bank clips, they don't look like any bank clips I've ever seen.
His approach is the approach I want to try with my own comics; my pencilling can be kind of messy. Even when I tighten my pencils, something just seems a bit off to me.
Putchin clips from Tokin Corp. They are a pain to find in the USA.
