Great game, but Joe Cherries totally though it for himself and the table when he countered the Meathook Massacre. Super sad when his board state blinded him to the real threat on board.

As a Junji player myself I was SUPER hyped to see Beezy is playing it this episode. Rooting for beezy on this one but always happy to see another shuffle scuffle get uploaded!

One of the greatest things
Good to see the mutate Tatsunari deck you guys mentioned a while ago, even if it didn't get to fully snowball enchantress style! I have a deck with the same idea and its pretty hard to find any gameplay of other people in other metas.
I've tried to get Tatsunari Mutate to work a few times now, but the sad truth is that there are way too few cheap mutate cards. You're forced to play the expensive ones out of necessity, and that makes it so hard to keep up with pretty much any table. :/ Gotta respect the jank though!
@@andrewharrison5801 It is a challenge, I hope we go back to Ikoria sometime in the next year or two. I chose to just have just 9 mutate creatures in my deck, none of them have a mutate cost over 4. Maybe 1/5 of games I don't draw enough of them, which is better than I anticipated.
I originally built it to be lower power to play against precons, but it was winning a little too soon, so I ended up just leaning into that a little more. I'd say it wins turn 10-12 right now, which is more than I can say for any other half jank deck I've tried to build. It's just a weird combination of having two colors in a strong enchantress archetype and a pretty weak mutate archetype.

Cherries I'm not sure why you didn't play out your commander at the earliest convenience - your engine doesn't get going until you start getting Satoru triggers for your ninjas and draw into the big bombs.

Little fun fact i only recently learned about. The command tax increases when the commander is cast. Not when it goes to the command zone.
I thought this was common knowledge? It’s why hellfire courser doesn’t increase commander tax.

Felt bad for Cherries on this one. They definitely thought countering meathook would keep them around and I could detect a bit of salt when they were eliminated. Honestly that vehicle deck kept bouncing back so fast I'm not sure it mattered in the long run.
I need to build a satoru or a yuriko deck. I know they’re a little annoying, but the stuff you can pull off is so cool.

Hey Guys, which Mics and Recorder do you use for your Audio in these Gameplay Episodes?
The next episode should start by having each person can bring and eat the best representation of a basic land.
I.E. Vanilla ice cream for plains
Bonus points if it’s the main color in your deck
Interesting fact (because Beezy refers to Junji as she/her)- Junji is, in fact, the reincarnation of Kokusho who was female, except Junji was reincarnated as a male! So it should be referred to as him/he.
Bezzies hand is scetchy, but the vehicles deck just kept a hand that i would mull if i had to go to 4.

We just did it because it was the last combat and it made it easier to determine what was attacking

I apologize for this but I found alot of Cherries rambling more distracting than helpful. Like the comment about the wizard class. Or every opportunity politically about the rats. It just slows down game play. We didn't need to hear it like 6 times.
I'm already seeing why I don't want yuriko in my satoru deck...

@@NitpickingNerds well my concern is more the deck becoming yuriko centric. If u have her it's very tempting to just try and use her and ignore satoru and all the awesome things he does! And at that point I feel I might as well make yuriko the commander. But that's just my feelings on it, no judgements on how u play or run your deck! Good episode guys keep em coming!!

That's Shorikai for you. Vehicles is a really underrated strategy so the majority of them are cheap. And Shorikai is such a good value engine on its own that it makes the deck punch even harder.

When a yuriko player is freaking over someone getting 1/1 rat tokens you know its gonna be a weird game. Cherries dies to his own free counter spell basically...and then Beezy dies taking out the one thing that could have saved them both going forward. Really bad decisions all around. But you live and you learn.
Next episode, whoever shouts the loudest gets to go first.
