2013 Ford Edge intermittent heat trouble. Heater Control Valve replavement

If you have tried everything you can think of to get your heat to work, and still no luck. Try this fix out.
At the 4:13 mark I call the Transmission Fluid Cooler the Thermostat, just know that I correct that statement later on.

Did the car have any fault codes for the heater system or the control valve? I'm having the exact same issue with no codes at all for the hvac system.

No codes or anything pointing to any problem. I think if the control valve would have had an electrical error it would have thrown a code, but since it was still "functional" the computer didn't have anything to report.
