This has got to be the best PHX spotting compilation I’ve ever seen. MD-11s, 747, 767, A330, 787, etc. Magnificent job capturing so much variety for an airport that generally has a lot of monotony.
Really enjoying all the freighter action, as well as all the domestic widebody traffic you normally wouldn't see pre-pandemic... like that DL 767-400 from JFK.
Some of the best, most colorful, unobstructed views of take offs and landing that has been posted on this here video-rama. Fascinating backdrops and cloud formations; unprejudiced and extremely well focused. Enjoyable plane spotting mix LevelFlight.
You didn’t mention in the title that it would start with everyone’s favorite Trijet?!? Fantastic work, my friend! This is like an early XMas present for us!!
Two out of the first four aircraft being MD-11Fs = automatic like. You were on schedule with capturing the best variety PHX can offer while limiting the 737s/A320s we’ve seen 10,000 times before. Well done.
I'm so well impressed with the mountains in the background, the light, the palms, I wonder how much different it is from the united States I'm used to thinking of
The land in the United States is very diverse, the area of KPHX (Phoenix, Arizona) is scenic desert but you drive for an hour or so and you'll be in higher elevations with pine trees.
Great video and great location to capture not only the sights but sounds of these beautiful birds as they take flight and land The beautiful Jet-black 737-200 captured at 21:00 is from Canada. Now why are they operating such old jets up there you might ask? The answer is that the Chrono 737-200 is equipped with a gravel kit, i.e. it can land on a gravel runway in the most remote gravel airstrips in Canada (usually mining sites ) and this is where Chrono makes it's money. I wonder what it was doing way down south in Phoenix? No other jet of that size can fulfill the mission of serving Canada's most remote Northern towns and job-sites. You cannot land a Boeing 737-Max on a gravel runway with it's low-slung engines. When these jets reach the end-of-life I don't know what will replace them.
It's amusing that the airport name is headlined wrong (it's Sky Harbor, obviously) as the vantage point is so good it looks like it was filmed by someone who works there. Fantastic, steady, clear camerawork, with the perfect amount of zoom. This is among the best takeoff footage I've seen anywhere, and I've been watching this stuff for years.
Did you happen to catch a King Air 200 land on 7R between FX3814 departing and the 135 arriving? It was me flying and I taxi’d into cutter. Just curious if you got us landing. Cool to see people out here plane spotting!
Best bird: UPS B757…timeless beauty, but Honeywell’s 757 is fugly. Best landing: DL’s B767 from NYC. Took forever for the nose gear to touch the runway.
I've been looking for a spot I could spot at PHX for free but this looks like it's n the parking complex which seems like they built it like that just so we couldn't spot off site, smh

Escaping the cold. Keeping the packages moving👍
The lack of variety comes from the summer, towards the winter is when airlines bring every big boy they got to Phoenix besides the A380
You got to love that KC-135
Glad you liked our French Canadian 732!
Congratulations on 2k followers!!
I love the heritage liveries. Could watch those all day.
Welcome back to America 737-200
Fantastic video my friend

It used to be like that typically before 9/11
Good video good arrival good depart good zooming.

Wow, 737-Jurassic!
I just found your channel and I am a plane spotter enthusiast. I have subscribed to your channel. I look forward to watching your videos.
Nice video
Wow leading off with some MD-11 action. Nice! 😎

PHX was the first place I ever saw a 747, being a kid from a small town in Utah. It was an Atlas Air 747-400. Greatest moment of my life!
Chrono 737-200 stole the show, with it's F.O.D. deflector's, and paint,
Fade to Black.....
Fantastic video my friend !
Gorgeous! Really enjoying these PHX compilations.
Interesting view5:00with parallel departure of Delta 767 and arrival of UPS 757
Absolutely. So good it was worth a rewind or two.
I flew out of phoenix 12 days after this video was posted and I flew out during the morning. Rly cool takeoff from a 737 800
The Chrono 737-200 has a GRAVEL KIT!
Wow a 60 year old KC135 and a frankensteined 757!
that's not even the oldest one that Unit has. their oldest is a 1957 model.
Thanks again for sharing this with us:)

Merry Christmas amazing video

The 737-200 sounds like a jet engine!
Edit: 21:12
Always greatly appreciate your videos. Outstanding!
Very enjoyable. Great chats and camera work.
the 737-200 was originally a Delta bird, delivered brand new to them back in 1987
Interesting piece of information. Thanks for sharing.
I've tried plane watch from this airport can't seem to find a good location to watch them but this right here is fantastic
Beautiful capturing ❤
Great quality, those UPS must be light compared to some pax aircraft, subscribed!!
Freighter pilots put the spurs to them... they don't have any sensitive passengers who might get sick.
Pesawat keren 👍👍👍
Very nice video! 👍
Please do more spotting here on Wednesday and look for a Southwest 737 going to OGG
Great video!

It may be the of the smallest planes in this vid, but that 732 was one of or if not the loudest that took off.
Great vantage point to film all these fantastic aircraft. Sharp images & superb work with the camera. Much appreciated 👍
Any bi planes ? Or how about a Concord ? Would love to see the big plane with 6 engine and 50 tires.
It is amazing how much air freight is up since ships are just sitting not being u loaded!
The last two weeks before Christmas are always busy with air cargo too
I'm love seeing a dc11

The Chrono 732 is based at my airport! CYHU :D
Awesome!!!
What camera equipment do you use? I've worked at Sky Harbor for the last 2 years and have been wanting to do what you are doing.
Whicj is better: DHL 767 with the JT9Ds or the private 737-200 with the JT8Ds
Last year I was reading that a company in Germany was converting A 380s for cargo but haven't heard about the progress. Anyone have any updates?
its really DC-10? or others?
woot
