I have done that when I get my free vanilla cone on the app. I get an apple pie and mix it in. I always ask for a cup with my cone.
The Shari's chain where I'm at does a pie shake, where a piece of pie is chopped up into a shake, and yes it is amazing. Wouldn't recommend the restaurant for anything else, but it's worth a visit just for the pie shake.
That’s what I thought this was when I saw the advertisement. Glad I didn’t get it… not a butterscotch fan. What a disappointment that would have been.

last time i went to a mcdonalds and got a mcflurry, they didnt even have the proper spoons, so they couldnt mix it. i got a cup of ice cream with like a light dusting of oreo crumbs on top and a generic plastic spoon.
I thought the vast majority of the times when the "machine is down" is because it's a PITA to clean properly, so many locations don't.

The way that yours was made looked better than the way mine was made when I got it last night. Also, I like the stack of candles you have in the background. Those are good candles due to the crackle that they make when lit.

When I was ordering McDonald's via the app yesterday, the Grandma McFlurry was the ONLY ice cream-based item showing as available locally on the "Sweets & Treats" part of the menu. No shake or any other McFlurries, just that one. So I'm not sure if my local McDonald's is actually serving it, or if their soft-serve machine is broken (again), and they don't actually have any McFlurries available at all, not even the Grandma McFlurry.
