Does anyone notice how his voice used to sound completely different? (Not just cause of puberty) but like right around 1:37 it really started to change vocally. But I can’t put my finger on it? He sounds much more free now? Like he used always just resort to like lower notes or something?? I’m not sure. I don’t know a lot about singing so if anyone has any commentary that’d be appreciated. Lol I just want to know what the deal is

This is my guess: 2015 was around the time he got the deal with Island Records. He knew he had a good voice before but maybe he didn't know how good of a voice he had until he got the record deal. Once he knew that so many people liked his voice he took off any restraints that he had before and just let everything go free...Not saying this is true. It's just my guess
