    This sounds all nice and stuff, but what about affordable housing. You have alot of people like myself who can't find a appartment to save my life. How can young adults in their late twenties and early thirties still live with their families. It's way more harder when ur a single parent and only bread winner. What the hell are we supposed to do and live? How can a two bedroom be 1,800 a month but ur income is $600 biweekly. U still gotta pay bills on top of that.😡

      @optimistic nihilist That doesn't solve the problem, it just delays it. I see the cranes in Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Nashville, etc. You think they are building for @Suga Mafia?

    • @godofthisshit
      @godofthisshit 5 років тому +1

      @optimistic nihilist I prefer cities and by mid century I think like 70% of humanity will live in or near cities. This is the 21st century, not the late 19th or early 20th century.

      @optimistic nihilist Did you suggest to buy land? I wanted to start my independent living not retirement. I need to move to survive? That is odd as hell. Buying land doesn't help me. And you still have to pay property tax. That is bullshit.

    To make that work you need a complete and comprehensive ecosystem of change. It can’t just be limited to more affordable housing. We need education reform, police reform, and better access to quality healthcare. Get those in order and people will be less frightened by affordable housing in their neighborhood.

    Thomas Sowell spoke on this. Strong nuclear families are necessary. Liberal soft bigotry of low expectations with government interference led to all of this.

    These politicians all about the money. The churches as well. At the end of the day, the developers or city have no interest in affordable housing. That’s the issue! Looking at this man is turning my stomach🤢 I’m so happy I left NYC.. visit but will never move back!

    Harlem is getting hit crazy with Gentrification...
    I've been to Philly, Atlanta, & D.C.... D.C is super gentrified as well doesn't even feel like Chocolate city anymore... Philly is starting to get hit heavy with gentrification... So is Atlanta, in a few years the real natives of Atlanta & Philly are going to be pushed out smh...
    Boston, NYC, San Francisco'/The Bay Area, LA, D.C, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Detroit all cities Nation wide are being affected, NYC, San Francisco, LA & Boston were just the first to get hit.

    Gentrification means black and poor people will be living in South Africa like townships sundown towns. Urban no longer is a code word for black People. If All the Black History And Knowledge that came through Harlem, how did it come to this?
    If gentrification taking Over Harlem, the rest of Urban Black communities HAVE NO CHANCE.
