SBS Transit turns 50 this year
I can't help but feel nostalgic again.
I miss it, those were the better days of singapore
Nostalgia! Thank you❤
I think it's 1998 not 1996!
SBST nowadays:
We have citaros running red lights every chance they get! Our buses are not only green, theyre PAINTED green! And we own Scanias that sound like someone put Dyson in them! We have buses arriving every 54 business days! Woo!
Back then when our favourite Volvo B10Ms Mk4s and Olympians were shiny new...Ah, those were the days! 😁
If only we live in those times rather than the lush green GCM era with those soulless electric buses, and yet all of them are scrapped beyond recognition and left forgotten...... 😢
Yea young enthus don't even care abt these old buses obvsly
Basically the very young ones which not in sec sch yet
Seeing those buses brings back the nostalgia. Anw, Do you have one on the Woodlands extension?
Interesting to see how bus services and models looked like before I was born
All buses in this video are no longer around, as people have been long complaining about steps.
They are being replaced by K230UBs and Citaros, and even B9TL CDGE and Wrights.
I know the meaning complaining about steps which was the reason singapore decided to use wheelchair accessible buses which first appeared on sbs transit service 21 in 2006.
@@rtproductionspoggers only Euro 4 KUB I think. Euro 5 may remain
@@sieandknsproductions3491 that comment was from 2 years ago....
anyway, you are right, the e5s begin retirement in 2025 or 26
I think it's created between 1997 and 2000 since I see express services like 501 and 503
Last time they use the magnetic fare card
is this the VCD SBS 1 on the cover?
4:04 now is more greener though

How to get used to proper English in sg?
Me: simple, just watch old videos such as the SBS 1997 video as they do not have slang or singlish at all
Good old days from 2000s I really miss these days in my life😭
