Hiking Grandeur Peak

- In this video, the dogs and I hike up Grandeur Peak via Church Fork. Grandeur Peak is an 8,299 foot summit on the east side of Salt Lake Valley and a popular hiking destination with spectacular views of the Wasatch Mountains and the valley. This is a fee area. $5 to get up the canyon, but well worth the money.

Awesome video. Love all the trail and waterfall footage. I pay attention to large trees as well on hikes and look forward to seeing how they have grown over subsequent hikes. Thanks for sharing.
I'm glad you enjoyed this hike. Since relocating back to Utah, it's been really nice to return to places that I've hiked in my youth and see it in great shape. This area is heavily used and was in poor condition prior to the USFS implementing a daily entrance fee in the early 90's. They've invested all of the money in to the canyon and have done a wonderful job at restoring the pick-nick areas, trailheads, and trails over the years. It's a great place to hike! Thanks for watching. ~ Mike
Very watchable and full of useful detail. Essential viewing for anyone on this road trip. Currently working thru all your videos.
Keep 'em coming.
Thanks! I'm always glad to hear that these videos have been helpful for people. My main goal is to encourage more people to get out and enjoy their public lands. This is a great hike, particularly in the early summer. All of the streams and springs will be flowing and it's really green. Thanks for watching! Mike
