These are success stories. Some of these children came over here to a life of misery. Now we know that even a good adoption leaves traumatic scars. Some of the kids have now told their own stories.

lol, I thought getting adopted to a suburb of the East Coast was "difficult". Can't imagine going to Arkansas.
Apologies to Arkansas, but it's not a very diverse state.

I was in process of adopting from China but the wait grew and grew. As a single woman I didn’t feel I could adopt a special needs. I would have in a second if I was married. The wait took me to age 50. Then I gave up. I guess not meant to be.
