Just bought mine! Been looking for this flute for a while now and so glad I finally your page! Can’t wait for it to arrive!
They both have beautiful sounds, love the perfect fifth drone!
Thank you for sharing these informations, very interesting! Now I understand why they sound so good :-) greetings from Sardinia!
Hi BBF, Awesome, your flutes sound so amazing. I will go to your site and check out all your flutes. Where I may not comment all the time I watch a lot of videos and love the channel. Peace & Happiness from Oregon, C.
Dude, I F*CKING LOVE YOU!
a neat thing about the 4th and 5th drone flutes is that when the higher flute is a fourth above the lower the lower is a fifth below the higher. And the opposite for the fifth drone
G'day Charlie,
Fantastic sound on both flutes, but the second has a hypnotising sound. Very, very different in a good way.
Nice! Look and sound great!
I love THEM!!!
Top flutes, I think. So mellow.
You were right...they sound great. I'll add them to the list....I already know the music I'll play with them. Thank to the friend who suggested it.
wow...I got to have one...that was ...wow
uVery beautiful sound Charlie, you eventually will make a tutorial teaching how to make flutes of this type of bamboo ?
Possibly.
Hello, is it possible for you to drill thumb holes on the back of your 5th Drone Flutes if a customer requests it? I'm asking because I want to play the high E & B notes?
Love it, what is the price for the E/B? Is this one suitable for smaller hands? Do you also make the in aromatic cedar?
Hi Liesbet. Thanks for your comment. Because of the hole placements,
someone with smaller hands could easily play these flutes. Currently we
only offer them in western cedar. Here is a link to the drones on my
website:

How difficult is a 4th or 5th drone style flute to learn to play compared to a traditional native american style flute, for a beginner?
Hey, great question! I believe that this type of drone flute is probably quite inspiring to learn how to play! Usually the more inspiring something is the quicker we learn it! Truth be known, it is very simple as there are only three fingerings on each side. Since there are no bad note combinations you basically just have to take your fingers off of each side one at a time and you can collaborate one side with the other producing something truly amazing!
@@BlueBearFlutes Cool, thanks for the insight! :)

Does your book teach how to make these flutes?
Not these types, however we do have drones in the book. These will be either in the revised edition or a new book altogether :)
ok thank you
Don't you make Anasazi style flutes?
I really hope you do.
I do, however we don't currently sell them on our website like we used to. One day we'll make a video on making one of those as well!
Wow....
I am really expecting...
Thank you...
