that gunk in the ballast was dielectric grease, it's there to protect it from rain / water from washing/ corrosion. You should put some in there, it's cheap. Thanks for the tutorial, it's good enough to translate to my 96 firebird formula lol

Any suggestions for a 94 Camaro with one of the passenger tail lamps being dimmer than the rest? Im thinking the socket or a ground?

@domalvarado448 Typically a bad ground or an inconsistent one will cause it to flicker on/off more often than just being dim. Dim should be more related to weak power source connection. If it's only one bulb then outside of a bad bulb itself I'd agree it's likely the socket. I'd still follow the wires as far as you can to make sure there no freying or corrosion at the sources while you are there but I think the socket is the safest bet. Most other issues like fuses would affect all of them.

Is there a difference between this one and for 98-02? I think the newer ones are three wires

Hey, yeah I belive so as well, if you go to a site like rockauto you can zero in on exactly what you need or if doubt it might be best to pull the lense out and check before ordering. Thanks for watching!

@ridethestorm6690 12003759. Best to go on rockauto or similar and verify it's the right one you need by searching your specific vehicle. Thanks for watching
