- Announcing the 50th Anniversary reissue of Honky Château, the album that brought you Rocket Man. Releasing on March 24th 2023, a newly created selection of outtakes from the original session demos, and unseen photos and memorabilia from 1972 have been unearthed.
Available to pre-order now. Formats include an expanded 2CD featuring performance recordings from Royal Festival Hall, where the album made its live debut, as well as 2LP Black Vinyl and Limited Edition Gold Coloured LP.

Elton is playing at the Liverpool Echo Arena on 24th March, I have had my tickets since September 2019, original concert was due in November 2020, it was rearranged but then Elton had to have his new hip, then rearranged for April 2023 but Liverpool awarded Eurovision Song Contest, I wondered if it would ever happen, so delighted when Elton fitted us in in March instead of postponing to a later date again.

Had my 55 key Fender electric keyboard plugged into the Sansui receiver and Jensen speakers. The ceramic pot w/plant on top of one speaker exploded, the other speaker was on fire from within and the receiver fried. This was in my apartment.
This has meaning, for me -
Saw him in Central Park, free concert. He played Sympathy for the devil. The park was packed and he could be heard everywhere!

Super Elton! Estive em Paris, no ano de 2019. Tentei ir ao Château d'Hérouville - local de gravação do Honky Château. Infelizmente deixei para ir dois dias antes do retorno ao Brasil - um sábado.
Tinha um ônibus para ir lá, mas não para voltar. É fora de Paris. Tipo zona rural. Uber era inviável em fim de viagem. Caro! Cheguei na boca do gol, mas não rolou. Fiquei com uma grande frustração. Ainda quero ir, nem que seja só pra ver do portão pra fora.

Ordered the 2lp set and the VMP exclusive on creamy beige vinyl. Buy why not include an extra lp with the live performances and make it a box set, just as you did with the Madman set? Would have been heaven!!
