Which is great for more modern human factors, or maybe at a stretch Neanderthal dating, but anything before that couldn’t be considered academically inaccurate, due to the amount of carbon present being little to none, after halving its life multiple times every 5,730 years until it is almost untraceable. This is why it is around 21,000 km long because of its actual distance covered while the Earth has a straight line of circumference adding up to a total of 40,000 km.
Answering harry's question about the great wall of china, the wall is split up into separate pieces and is not an exact straight line and so its total length is 20000km rather then one big straight line of 20000km and so it does not go across half the world.
