Bahamian living in Canada. This is such a reminder of home and fine Bahamian cuisine. Love the healthy and clean cooking style. This represents well. And to boot....a beautiful Bahamian lady.
Gal I love how you did this with you authentic Bahamian accent. Your okra soup rocks just like you. A beautiful Bahamian girl who can cook and sound indigenous. Will be looking for your other videos.
Why I couldn’t be quarantined w/ Bodine dread 😫 that look so GOOD! I’d love to see you do a quarantine struggle meal cause if this curfew go any longer, I doubt we could make it to the food store 😅
I had to come "righchere" to check the recipe out!! I just harvested some okra from the backyard, the day was gloomy, and then rain!! Issa soup day! Tanks gyal :)
What a joy to watch....irst time viewing so proud of you ....very natural and comfortable on camera, recipes are easy to follow and you come across so genuine.....continued success - Exuma
Hi Mardea. Because of how I prepare the meat, ie. I pre-season and pre-cook them separately, there is no need for a lot of seasonings, but I used thyme, bay leaf and garlic in the soup itself.

I didn't see any seasonings, besides salt. Just curious, is that how you usually prepare this?

I ga try this !! Thanks
Quick question. Is this crab soup? Or okra soup? Cause I've never heard off crab/okra soup🤔.
It's okra with crab in it. Traditionally, Bahamians put seafood in any type of soup, especially okra soup. It's a Geechee/ African thing.
Same.
Carry all ya crab. I always ask for the legs other people leave behind, I DON'T CARE WHAT THEY SAY I JUST ROLL MY EYES AND WALK AWAY !
🤤
I gat you! Thanks for watching!
