Nayeon should be the main vocalist alongside Jihyo. JYP's been treating her like one since after 'Knock Knock' era. Honestly, 'Signal' was the first TWICE album where Nayeon was at the top in the line distribution.

It's not necessarily about vocal tone, but more about range things, Jeongyeon hate falsettos and Belts from F5, NaJiMi have a ease with falsettos, Nahyo have easy with high belts, and sadly, 90% of twice songs are hard to sing

(Set me free, I can’t stop me, One Spark etc.) If Jeongyeon wanted to she could easily sing a lot of these songs that are Nahyo dominated. I love the vocal colors of every vocal line member. But I really don’t understand what the producers hear in jeongyeon’s voice that makes them give her scraps. Recently even Nayeon said she had to advocate for Jeongyeon when it came to who sang One Spark cause she agreed Jeongyeon suited it more. 😭

You can maybe argue in recent time she has shown some improvement when DANCING (which is the only thing your highlighting for some reason ) but that argument doesn’t hold well considering we have an entire catalogue of 3mix singing live where Jeongyeon sings and dances just as stable as the other vocal line members, in fact she takes the effort to always sing live. JYP runs TWICE as OT7 not OT9. JY and TZ are out from OT7 since starting. Thats why, both will not get any chances to shine like others. Thanks to MOMO, JYP had to made TWICE into OT9 not OT7 but they treat TWICE as OT7 since starting.
It was 1st plan of JYP to have only 2 vocals (Princess & Daughter) with MISAMO and 1 rapper into the TWICE before SIXTEEN. Thanks to MOMO, JY and TZ is in twice. You can clearly see the treatment towards both from JYP in whole Twice journey. JY & TZ will not get any chance to shine as individual.
The gap between Jeongyeon and Sana is like really small like approximately 120 Seconds, if Sana pulls out a Mina in eyes wide open, she may surpass her in one or 2 comebacks. Hopefully the producers realise this soon lol. But I think even if that happens, top 5 won’t change, it will still be NaJeongSaJiMi. I highly doubt the last 4 is going to be given enough lines to surpass Jeongyeon. I really thought Tzuyu was going to shine in the Dive album because usually in the Japanese album she is treated better (in fact more like a lead vocalist - Celebrate), but this time she is like 7th place in the overall album.

No the thing is that Nayeon's voice suits Twice songs the most (atleast the past cute songs). She has a very unique and poppy tone and being the centre is also a point. I really love Jeongyeons voice the most, its so RnB and soulful. Jeongyeon's voice didn't suit the realy cutesy concepts of twice and she was more matured that time so they didn't like to portray her. Then after the hiatus slowly she's getting some more and hard vocal lines. In past time she barely got lines thats why her overall lines are very less compared to Nayeon and Jihyo. Honestly she deserves to get the first solo debut but she needs to adjust after the long hiatus she had. Hopefully she gets a solo album with RnB songs in it. It would be lovely. Also twice songs are extremely high pitched. Nayeon and Jihyo when they go high they sound somewhat like cut idk how to explain it but jeongyeon's way of belting is way mature so they don't really give enough highnotes to jeongyeon. But currently she's getting few tricky parts like in their Japanese album she and mina started the song and jeongyeon got a decent amount of lines. Jeongyeon will really suit a dark concept like that of Dreamcatcher.
Mina's voice is always suitable to every Twice songs, and it's pretty obvious. Chaeyoung will never reach Mina, when it comes to line distribution. Jeongyeon's voice is too strong, and not flexible unlike Jihyo(she can adjust her voice into soft). Like, yes, she is stable, but her voice isn't suitable
Things that I noticed on TWICE line distributions: When Jihyo had the most lines in a title track, she leads the whole album (e.g: Taste of Love). When Nayeon is 1st in a title song, she's also 1st in the whole album (e.g: WITH YOU-th). However, in some albums, Jihyo is 1st in a title track, but Nayeon leads the whole album (e.g: Twicetagram) or if Nayeon was 1st in a title song, Jihyo is 1st in the entire album (e.g: DIVE).
I really like Momo's voice, it's often what stays in my head for the songs with a lot of beats in it. But she's often on the last place of line distributions ? Can someone explain me kindly why ? I don't know them very well on this...
She is more into rapping and dancing and without lying she is the one with the least vocal skills and many people are bothered by her voice because it is very nasal (no hate to Momoring I love her)

Well, Mina is the only sub vocalist that always has an innecesary amount of lines, sometimes surpass Jihyo (MAIN VOCALIST) , but always Jeongyeon (LEAD VOCALIST) Also, her lines can be shared with Tzuyu o EVEN dahyun in some cases. So that comment is kinda common
As I have observed throughout thier career, Jihyo and Nayeon are considered as the main singer of the group, as you can always observe theyre the two who sing the chorus and do the adlibs.

well, obviously jy is by far a better vocalist than mina, however it's also about their voice colors. jy's voice is very powerfiul, whereas twice song's don't always match her voice, which is why mina gets more lines, since her voice, which imo is very calming and soothing, fits the twice image more. however jihyo and nayeon could share their main chorus part but since it's a trademark since their debut era, it would probably be a bit off-putting (i'm not saying that her voice is bad or anything), it may be a little "weird" to have such a powerful first chorus. mina's lines are mostly verses and she doesn't often sing the chorus, so i really do think that she deserves the lines that she gets

Eu sei que as distribuições do início eram desiguais, mas a Jihyo era tratada como Main Vocal e a Jeongyeon era tratada como Lead Vocal. Só no primeiro álbum delas, a Jeongyeon fica em primeiro em 2 músicas. Eu gosto que as linhas "estão mais equilibradas" atualmente, mas isso da Nayeon e a Mina terem mais lines eu não curto tanto. Sem hate contra elas, eu adoro todas as integrantes só não gosto da maneira que as músicas são divididas entre as membros
I hope people realize that their positions are not that relevant anymore and even though they didn't officially update them, it's obvious that they changed over time. Consider Nayeon as one of the Main Vocalist along Jihyo, Mina as a Lead Vocalist with Jeongyeon. Sana is treated as one of them too, but imo it's mostly because her voice really fits Twice's song. Also there can be different reasons why their line distributions are like that: the producer's choices, their vocal skills, the voice style, delivery of the line, being comfortable/uncomfortable to sing certain parts and many more motives.
If you look carefully you can see how Mina is moving away and away from Jeongyeon and Sana is getting closer and closer to Jeongyeon. Mina is away from Jeongyeon for like idk 200sec and sana is away for like 80sec
People still complain because it’s been like this since debut. Personally when i saw that nayeon was first in every song of their latest album (she literally made a pak lmao) it became the last comeback i listen. No hate to nayeon i love her and her vocals, but it become so annoying to see the same people being highlighted since debut. I understand when it’s during their debut era, they highlight the most popular members for marketing. But now ?! Twice is literally one of the biggest group in the world they literally don’t need this tactic anymore, so why do they still use it ? Even in besides where they can try newer things etc it’s the same thing. The last time where nahyo aren’t first in a song is since 2020 !!!!!!! 4 years !! Twice don’t need to push the same members, they are now an accomplished girl group they are well known in the world and very respected, they don’t need to make songs to become famous because they are famous and successful ! Nobody listen to their songs except their fans. And as a fan i need something new and fresh every members have recognizable and beautiful voices but we hear the same voices since 2015 💀. So now i’ll stop to listen to twice’s release as a group but i’m still gonna support them for their solo, sub unit activities.

imo Mina deserves the lines she gets. I get Jeongyeon’s vocal talent is not being showcased and I agree, but Mina’s voice is unique but surprisingly versatile and she makes every line she gets that much better.

It's not necessarily about vocal tone, but more about range things, Jeongyeon hate falsettos and Belts from F5, NaJiMi have a ease with falsettos, Nahyo have easy with high belts, and sadly, 90% of twice songs are hard to sing

The gap between Jeongyeon and Sana is like really small like approximately 120 Seconds, if Sana pulls out a Mina in eyes wide open, she may surpass her in one or 2 comebacks. Hopefully the producers realise this soon lol. But I think even if that happens, top 5 won’t change, it will still be NaJeongSaJiMi. I highly doubt the last 4 is going to be given enough lines to surpass Jeongyeon. I really thought Tzuyu was going to shine in the Dive album because usually in the Japanese album she is treated better (in fact more like a lead vocalist - Celebrate), but this time she is like 7th place in the overall album.

No the thing is that Nayeon's voice suits Twice songs the most (atleast the past cute songs). She has a very unique and poppy tone and being the centre is also a point. I really love Jeongyeons voice the most, its so RnB and soulful. Jeongyeon's voice didn't suit the realy cutesy concepts of twice and she was more matured that time so they didn't like to portray her. Then after the hiatus slowly she's getting some more and hard vocal lines. In past time she barely got lines thats why her overall lines are very less compared to Nayeon and Jihyo. Honestly she deserves to get the first solo debut but she needs to adjust after the long hiatus she had. Hopefully she gets a solo album with RnB songs in it. It would be lovely. Also twice songs are extremely high pitched. Nayeon and Jihyo when they go high they sound somewhat like cut idk how to explain it but jeongyeon's way of belting is way mature so they don't really give enough highnotes to jeongyeon. But currently she's getting few tricky parts like in their Japanese album she and mina started the song and jeongyeon got a decent amount of lines. Jeongyeon will really suit a dark concept like that of Dreamcatcher.

Mina's voice is always suitable to every Twice songs, and it's pretty obvious. Chaeyoung will never reach Mina, when it comes to line distribution. Jeongyeon's voice is too strong, and not flexible unlike Jihyo(she can adjust her voice into soft). Like, yes, she is stable, but her voice isn't suitable
Things that I noticed on TWICE line distributions:
When Jihyo had the most lines in a title track, she leads the whole album (e.g: Taste of Love). When Nayeon is 1st in a title song, she's also 1st in the whole album (e.g: WITH YOU-th).
However, in some albums, Jihyo is 1st in a title track, but Nayeon leads the whole album (e.g: Twicetagram) or if Nayeon was 1st in a title song, Jihyo is 1st in the entire album (e.g: DIVE).

well, obviously jy is by far a better vocalist than mina, however it's also about their voice colors. jy's voice is very powerfiul, whereas twice song's don't always match her voice, which is why mina gets more lines, since her voice, which imo is very calming and soothing, fits the twice image more. however jihyo and nayeon could share their main chorus part but since it's a trademark since their debut era, it would probably be a bit off-putting (i'm not saying that her voice is bad or anything), it may be a little "weird" to have such a powerful first chorus. mina's lines are mostly verses and she doesn't often sing the chorus, so i really do think that she deserves the lines that she gets

I hope people realize that their positions are not that relevant anymore and even though they didn't officially update them, it's obvious that they changed over time.
Consider Nayeon as one of the Main Vocalist along Jihyo, Mina as a Lead Vocalist with Jeongyeon. Sana is treated as one of them too, but imo it's mostly because her voice really fits Twice's song.
Also there can be different reasons why their line distributions are like that: the producer's choices, their vocal skills, the voice style, delivery of the line, being comfortable/uncomfortable to sing certain parts and many more motives.

Personally when i saw that nayeon was first in every song of their latest album (she literally made a pak lmao) it became the last comeback i listen. No hate to nayeon i love her and her vocals, but it become so annoying to see the same people being highlighted since debut. I understand when it’s during their debut era, they highlight the most popular members for marketing. But now ?! Twice is literally one of the biggest group in the world they literally don’t need this tactic anymore, so why do they still use it ? Even in besides where they can try newer things etc it’s the same thing. The last time where nahyo aren’t first in a song is since 2020 !!!!!!! 4 years !! Twice don’t need to push the same members, they are now an accomplished girl group they are well known in the world and very respected, they don’t need to make songs to become famous because they are famous and successful ! Nobody listen to their songs except their fans. And as a fan i need something new and fresh every members have recognizable and beautiful voices but we hear the same voices since 2015 💀. So now i’ll stop to listen to twice’s release as a group but i’m still gonna support them for their solo, sub unit activities.

imo Mina deserves the lines she gets. I get Jeongyeon’s vocal talent is not being showcased and I agree, but Mina’s voice is unique but surprisingly versatile and she makes every line she gets that much better.
