And the day turned to night is also my all time favorite along with Behind Closed Eyes and Vapor Rumors. I find something about that style so sophisticated, comes close to symphonic music. Just the shape of the songs and how they develop the motifs really reminds me of that. I also like that those songs didn't really have much folk music influence or many traditional instruments, that really cements the unearthly quality.

it's almost sad how much i listen to shpongle. everything else just sounds so dull now.

Honestly I feel the opposite, shpongle tends to become dull to me after a few tracks. On the other hand I can listen to early and mid era goa mixes for hours.

The interviewer, although nice, seems to be rushing things. But it was an ok 15 minute interview anyway. Where is the interviewers dialect from though? I'm trying to figure it out. Portuguese? Spanish? Italian?
