Hi George - just so happens I am editing a 16mm film shot by my late uncle in Sydney Australia 1962. He is seen stretching on a Sydney beach and then two matches with his opponents of which one is Michel Barone. My uncle had something to do with bringing Mr Karpozilos to Australia, I think. I will let you know when I upload to my channel. I stumbled on this Chicago video when doing research on the wrestlers. Amazing to have made contact with you!!

Από τις εκδόσεις ΜΥΓΔΟΝΙΑ εκδόθηκε το 2005 η βιογραφία του Πρωταθλητή μας Χάρη Καρπόζηλου που έγραψε και επιμελήθηκε ο υιός του Γεώργιος Καρπόζηλος. Στο βιβλίο αναφέρεται η ζωή και η πορεία του Χάρη στο άθλημα της ελευθέρας πάλης και ιδιαίτερα στον άθλο που επέτυχε στην Αμερική στο διάστημα της παραμονής του εκεί (1954-1955) όπου κατέκτησε την "χρυσή ζώνη" πετυχαίνοντας 105 νίκες!! . Το βίντεο που παρακολουθούμε ήρθε ξαφνικά σαν από μηχανής Θεός από το Σικάγο το 2014 και επιβεβαιώνει όσα πλείστα περιγράφονται και μέσα στο βιβλίο.

Russ mentioned "the boys should have stayed in the showers" because of the decision. I would have stayed in the shower with Karpozilos that hot little muscular fireplug. Bet we could have fun in the shower or the steam room.
