I've lived in Atlanta for 12 years was homeless for half of those years, stayed in every shelter in Atlanta, and that was after they murdered my fiance in a store we had on MLK Blvd......I was NOT on drugs, No alcohol, nothing....I eventually got a job at Grady, worked there for a few months, saved up some money and went back to my home town, went to DVA immediately to seek help.....I applied for Service Connected Disability and got it, God is good......If she's a Veteran with an "Honorable Discharge" she needs to go to the DVA on Clairmont Road, it's one of the best VA hospitals in the country, and SEEK HELP! NO MORE EXCUSES, Girl....
They also have a program for homeless veterans called HudVash. I was on it for 11 years until I was fortunate to purchase my own home recently, with my VA loan.
She said there's an active warrant for her arrest in Michigan for drug related charges as well as assault. She also alluded to someone trying to kidnap her so she couldn't testify on stand.
I’m no longer homeless and still feel just like her minus the crack. Been dropping tears since yesterday night. My heart breaks for her. I wish I could hug her even if we just sob together. The roof over your head isn’t the only thing that will solve your problems… mental health is real.
I’m currently homeless with 5 children , it was only 2 weeks ago that I was sleeping in my van ppl don’t understand it’s hard to find a job while homeless. 4 months ago I thought I could do it! Going to work without washing properly sleeping down the street from my job in my car so I could save gas . Life just f’d up and no one is there to help. I’m a lil stable now and currently looking for a job I been homeless for a yr I didn’t think it would be this long and I’m praying to God that he get us off these streets before snow fall cause Chicago winter ain’t no joke smh

I had a brother like that so many years I spent my money bailing him out and trying to talk to him about dealing with life in general. I had a warrant that I ran away from also, and ironically the best thing I did was go and face the music and get that burden off my shoulders. The thought and fear of what would happen to me was 100x worse than what actually happened. Now it’s years behind me and I was able to move on with my life🙏🏾 It seems crazy, but it happens to the best of us 💯💯 I watch these videos and it reminds me of how close I was to being homeless also. My community is hurting so bad. When I hop on the engine and go to these calls. It tears me up. We are make more withdrawals of happiness. And we are not making deposits of happiness. Then one day you are overdrawn in happiness. I know I won’t be on the engine for long. I know I won’t be a paramedic for long either. It’s so hard to see my people like this. 😢

Well let's be honest how many people who are sentenced to 5 years actually serve 5 years. Answer: Hardly any. You have people who have been convicted of murder who been sentenced to 25 years in prison and only serve 5 years in prison.
