Hello Katie, this was a great chat. thank you for posting it. I honestly don't know . I guess just doing nothing and crocheting. I have a very loose neck and have really never been heavy but the fat and muscles that use to fill me out are gone. Thank you for sharing your walk with us. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓
A cup if coffee in the morning is more than self care. It's caring for your whole family. I know they'd all be mad at me if u didn't have my morning coffee cause they couldn't stand to be around me 😂
Applauding you for embracing self-love, but please give yourself more grace. We are usually our worse critics, and.the things we think we need to improve about ourselves is what others love, or make us unique.
Sister Katie, you are beautiful inside and out! I love your message, and it is great to have "permission" to do self-care! You are right about it all, and as a helper to your Hubs, that's really important, I would say. Since my Hubs has cerebral palsy and we help our rapidly aging parents, life is always exciting and fulfilling ~ and sometimes very tiring. So yes! Let's all remember how important taking care of ourselves is to others! It's not selfish! I know what you mean about the double-edged sword. I have osteoarthritis all over, and if I don't do my self-care with stretches and exercises, walking, and working outside, I will get really stiff and hurting. So I have fun, but it is out of necessity, too. Some days I want to skip, but I know the consequences ~ so rest I dare not! My self-care is doing anything outside. And getting to do the Good News in the Garden is very fulfilling to me. I have other interests, like learning watercolor, but if I get into it, I feel guilty. I need to get over it, I know. Stay kind to yourself, Katie! Good luck preparing for that 10K! That sounds like quite the challenge! God bless you!
Oh KATIE!! I just love watching you evolve into deeper self love with each step, each video - thank you for the mention, I'm glad you are enjoying the walks together - What I do for self care - honestly I'm feeling kinda in a rut right now - not with walking, but with being on the other side of a huge accomplishment with taking the show on the road - I'm fatigued and energized at the same time - So self care for me right now is allowing myself to BE - just as you are- acknowledging my accomplishment, just as you are - and not allowing myself to stay down, but rather evolve with grace and compassion for my body - BRAVO my friend :)
@KarenWilsonOnline You must be proud of yourself! Such a huge accomplishment! I have my eyes on the 10k... I am excited. I have such a wonderful community of subscribers. I have many things to be proud of. Sometimes, I need to just take a breath. As always, thank you for walking with me!❤️

You are so right. We need to talk to ourselves in a kinder way. Loving ourselves flaws and all is so hard to do. I have to work on this daily ❤
