Man I don't know how you find all of this stuff, but I'm glad that you do and share it with us. These videos bring back so many good memories from my youth.
My two favorite you tubers you and Ken Sr and Jr his son at Kaplan cycles for the dedication and desire of preserving the two strokes of a lost era of dirt bikes keep up the good work.
Awesome resto man 👍 I had an 80 cr250, but mine was pretty clapped. I made mechanically solid, but it wasn't pretty like your 125. Was a blast to ride though!
outstanding bike ,i fully expected it to be a left kicker ,mate had a early 80s CR 250 and that was a left kick as was the bigger 480,funny why they do that i always thought the Husqvarnas were the only one
Thanks Eddie, it's already sold but I have a few other bikes I will be listing for sale soon. If you subscribe to me channel you will be notified each time I post a new video
Great Bike! I have one, now the spark is gone. Tried a few things, no results. Do you know of any other "outer flywheel" model ignition system that would fit the 1980 CR125R? Thanks!
RMs were great bikes I had a new 78 RM250 C2 leftover in 79 another friend had the 79 RM250 and they were rocket ships. One of my other friends bought a brand new 1980 cr125 and when I took it for a spin I was impressed with the power band and how easy the bike was to ride.

I know of a 250 Elsinore sitting in a shed along with an 80s kit car and some 70s ke’s

Get in contact with Dan at re-mx.com he sells Vape and HPI ignitions
Sweet!
Thanks!
I raced with friends around that time on 125's, and honestly, none of the others were as good as the Suzuki rm125's

@@kingdebary yes, possibly the yz was faster in a straight line but the rm Suzuki had such sweet handling characteristics
Beautiful my friend
Thanks
That’s such a cool looking bike. Especially without that silly 23 inch front wheel Honda used.
You are thinking of the 79 cr125 which came with the 23 inch front wheel. In 1980 they switched back to a 21 inch front wheel
@@kingdebary Thank you for the correction. I thought both years had the 23”.
@@peteschiavoni I think also a few XLs from that Era had 23 inch front rims as well
Sweet 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks!
Yasou! Dino! Niko in Orlando!
Very nice. But you didn't ride it 😢
