- Frankfurt an der Oder is a German city on the Oder River, right at the border to Poland in the very east of Germany. This Frankfurt is not to be mixed up with the well-known Frankfurt am Main, which we visit regularly here on POPtravel ( ua-cam.com/users/results?searc... ) .
Frankfurt (Oder) has several red-brick Gothic buildings like the Town Hall, which houses part of the Museum Junge Kunst with East German art. There is also the Kleist Museum which we will pass - dedicated to German dramatist Heinrich von Kleist. Other than that the city is devoid of people on this summer Sunday which gives it a rather eerie atmosphere.

ich bin nach Frankfurt Oder 2019 umgezogen , seitdem lebe ich hier , die schöne ruhige Stadt . Jetzt bin mit dem Projekt (Lost Places ) in Frankfurt Oder und Umgebung bei DAA beschäftigt .
ich ziehe bald nach FFO und bin sehr von LPs fasziniert. Hoffe das ein oder andere in der Umgebung zu finden - vor allem eins, welches nicht schon runtergerockt ist. Beste Grüße (noch aus Berlin)

Когда во времена ГДР я жил во Франкфурте/О на тратуарах мусор не валялся!А здесь прямо в центральной части города.Странно однако,вроде бы немцы чистюли ещё те!!!

Guys, how can i find a job in this city as a student?
If you're already there look for signs in shops. In most German cities part time jobs are available as there is a bit of a shortages in restaurants, super markets and general commerce where people with fluent German (and tolerating low hourly wages) are in demand.

It's a small city, so there are not so many people there - plus, tourists often go over the bridge to poland. :D
It's not the big Frankfurt, it's the smaller one on the border with Poland.
