After School is a 7-member female group from South Korea managed by Pledis Entertainment.
Debuting initially as a 5-member group with their debut single AH in January 2009, they were labeled as the Korean Pussycat Dolls for the matured and sexy concept they had taken on. In April 2009, After School released a digital single titled DIVA and introduced a new member, U-ie, into the group, as part of After Schools admission and graduation concept. Later in November 2009, member Yoo So Young announced her withdrawal from the group citing health and studies reasons.
In the same month with the admission of the two new secretive members Raina and Nana, After School is set to change the standards of girl groups.
Raina (21) and Nana (19) were revealed through their teaser site as individuals that had trained long and hard with a strong base that also hold the mysterious image of charm and humor. With the unveiling of the new 7 membered image, many have been showing explosive interest and attraction.
The title song of the new album is Because of You. Its said to be a shibuya-kei style song with an electropop feel. After School will be revealing their intensive performance that is said to never been seen before amongst the nations girl groups. It begins with the sad melody of a piano and violin that folds into an addictive chrous. A rap that utilizes the members individuality finishes the song off in style.

Many people forget how massive this song was in SK. It topped charts for weeks and was considered the 2nd Gee of 2009 in terms of success.

'Because of You' is definitely one of the best Kpop songs that has came out in the last 5 years period.

Wow, although I listened to this song more than a decade ago, it still has its uniqueness and better than a lot of songs that are released these days...
im seriously crying because of the years that passed.. i remember being their die hard fan and listening to their songs everyday.. now they’re back after years of hiatus… they didn’t even officially disband. pledis this them dirty. I’m glad we got to see them perform again (maybe one last time) i do miss Nana and Uee tho.
I wish I could thank them for those amazing years they made me smile. and after more than a decade, i’m still into kpop. AfterSchool was my first group ever.. they’ll always have a special place in my heart

When I first saw Raina, I thought she was really short. She's actually 166cm o_O she looks so short because all of the other members are soo tall. Every single one of them is tall.

I really love this song... I think it's the best song After School has ever made. Don't get me wrong, I like their other songs too, but I just like this the best. It really never gets old, I've listened to it many times but I still haven't gotten tired of it. It's beautiful...

군생활 잊혀질만 한데 ㅋㅋ 전주만 들어도 마스크,초코파이가 자동으로 떠오름 13년전 2009년때도 마스크를 썻었음.. 당시 신종플루 때문에 훈련소는 방한 마스크를 쓰고 4주간 훈련을 받아야 했는데 숨도 막히고 춥긴 드럽게 춥고ㅜㅜ 그래도 운이 좋은 기수라 사격장에서 사격 잘한다고 끝나고 수류탄 수량남은거 다 던지고 클레이 모어 설치하고 폭발시켰는데 그 위력은 장관이었지

One thing that I really like about this song is that it's ballad, but it still has some sort of dance beat. Like, it's beautiful and meaningful, but it's still got this power in it, and the dance looks awesome.
