I have heard a similar song (at least at the beginning) which was played by African Fiesta. Quite a bombshell. All in all, Kabaselle fully deserves the title of being the father of Congolese modern music.
Music of the years, African jazz at its best, I think this music was recorded between 1960 & 1963,the voice of the then young Rochereau can be heard before the split of African jazz. Rochereau later teamed up with Dr Nico to form African Fiesta.
