im a wolves fan, and an ant fan for sure... that being said, what would the league be like without a "face of the league"? like would it be better? Imagine like 7 or 8 jugernaut players all around the league competing. Just floating that idea out there. I could see it being a huge positive, and a negative as well. For me, seeing lebron and then steph in consecutive playoffs was super impressive, but also got super boring at the same token.
It's always been a gauntlet.some players are just that damn good to be in the finals and mvp talks every season. I like the league having a premier player because everyone is trying to take that spot. Or prove that they are better. When mj came in he had to deal with magic and Larry. Then 96 draft happens. And so on. It's an era thing when someone is dominant. I like when its hard to predict who wins the ship but it's indisputable who the mvp should be. And mvp doesn't always mean best player in the league. More like who's the most valuable person to their winning franchise. I'm looking forward to see what happens this year aint no telling who wins.

I think the NBA face will always gravitate towards an American Player, and i know about the history of the face of the league. But i was just making a note on what if there is not a "Face" one player of the league. Would that be better or worse for the game is what i was posing.
Tatum will be overtaken by ANT. Luka and SGA are literally stack padding- intentionally. Ant's also playing as well as anyone in the entire league on both ends. You could make the argument that he's the best two-way in the league, after what he just did to the Clips. Oh and he made the Nuggets whole team look corny.
Luka isn’t stat padding. SGA was stat padding (sorta) for the franchise record but he’s doing it efficiently and his team is the 1st seed. Ant is really good yes, but people undermine Tatum for not winning a championship forgetting he’s only 26. He has more playoff experience at 26 than some all star caliber players do in their 30’s. Jordon, LeBron, Curry, Kobe without shaq all didn’t win their first chip until they were like 28. SGA is probably the best two way scoring guard in the league right now. Ant is catching up though for sure.

You put Luka out of team, Mavericks are lost, this is proven many times. The Mavericks are third in the league with the most injuries this season, three players didn't play between 22 and 25 games each, at one point even five of the most important teammates for the team were injured, but Luka still held the connection to the top 7 in the west, so if there were no injuries, they would now be among the top 2 or 3 in the west. If the Mavericks finish as a 5th or 6th in the Western Conference, Luka is the MVP this season.
