    At 4:14 watch Bagent's hips and feet on this play. He's already flipped his hips left to throw left. After he reads the play is dead left, he then sees the pass has to go straight. (I actually think Tonyan #18 is read #2.) Many QB's would throw off their right foot then. But he managed to throw off his left foot. It's unnatural, and takes an extra half second. But he gets that from starting 53 games in college.

    I mean it really makes a difference who’s playing quarterback… Sometimes when Justin plays, and holds the ball way too long, it looks bad on the line… But it’s not always their fault obviously… You just can’t hold onto the ball for four or five seconds and expect The blocking to hold up… Even those screenplays or receiver throws to the end… If they’re thrown a half a second faster the Bears other receivers might have a chance to block the defenders instead of getting lost and the receiver gets nothing… This is probably the best thing for Justin to do… Watch and learn from a quarterback who is played nearly twice as much football regardless of division… Those things don’t matter, Tyson is a talented young quarterback who’s played in so many different systems, has complete understanding of the game, a high football IQ, and he’s got the physical talent to be an NFL quarterback… And that’s really what matters, he looks like an NFL quarterback The game is not too big for him and I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up being the starter… Of course I’m a huge Justin Fields fan and I want him to be great because he has a higher ceiling… So perhaps sitting and watching for the next few games Could spark something in Justin and hopefully wake him up because that’s what he needs to do is wake the hell up and stop holding on the ball for five or six seconds… Just get rid of it, run it or throw it to your fucking escape valve… And stop hesitating…

  • @salimoneus
    @salimoneus Рік тому +1

    Fields has fundamental issues that he still hasn't resolved from his college days. Sluggish to get into the pocket from the snap, slow to read the field, hesitates on making target decisions, and many times is too late to take off running. Also his footwork is not very good. Sure he's more athletic, but if he isn't able to put that to use in a timely manner, it's not really all that useful is it.
    There isn't much not to like about Bagent, he looks like a seasoned veteran in almost every way. Sure he still has some adjusting to do to get up to the speed of the NFL, but he's not very far off. And he makes almost no mistakes. Very impressive poise and decision making for an undrafted free agent rookie. Bagent is going to be a franchise QB for some team, hopefully the bears are smart enough to keep him around.

    Here's what you won't see on Tape. Every other player stepping up their game for Bagent. Why??? Watch his press conference...then go watch Fields blame the coaching In his. Leadership. Bagent has it and while I see Fields with the right OC better than Maholmes because of his run abilities, which they don't use. His leadership is just not pressent on the field. Bagent is off the charts there. We gotta ask how and why. Make JF earn the 1 back. Presnap, leadership. Let him learn that stuff off Bagent. Footwork is whole other story for Fields. Call it a 5 Step Hop 😅💯😳 Your supposed to jam your toes into the ground pushing yourself off for leverage in the hips. There is just none of that. Then obviously freezing up which he was doing again early Vs Minnesota. He's stiff which means he's uncomfortable. This all ties in together you just gotta know what buttons to press, what plays to call. If Fields starts games with a 20yard scramble, he's pry gonna loosen up.

Had 8TD 600yarfs in 2 Games then froze up 1st play Vs Vikings. He gotta believe in him before the team will. Ya know. The NFL is notorious for guys looking great until the defensive coordinators get enough game film to see tendencies they can exploit. Not saying the kid isn’t good I’m just saying one game isn’t enough of a sample size especially against a team as poorly coached as the raiders are. Brock Purdy is starting to come back to earth now that teams have enough game tape on him.
