- The PROTOSTAR is the signature yo-yo of 4x USA National Champion and 2008 and 2010 World Champion John Ando. Watch him and his buddy Paul Han put it through its paces in and around Yokohama Japan the day of the 2010 Japan national yo-yo contest.

one of the best yoyo videos ive seen. the editing is perfect, two of the greatest players in the world playing awesome carefree freestyle. the music also fits perfectly, the scenery is also beautiful. i love it
watched this video when i was a beginner.seeing 2 unfamiliar Yoyo players executing so awesome moves.wow,really amazing that i now know the 2 players and watching it all over again.

this is the best from yoyofactory , this yoyo have surpassed my boss , my northstar , this yoyo is wonderful , ive never seen a plastic yoyo better than this one , yoyofactory ... i salute you , you still producing protostar until today , this yoyo never gets old :)
Paul Han reminds me so much of eric koston. He's been around so long that hes got the old school tricks on lock but can still do new school tricks and make em look bettter than most guys.
I have a Protostar, and I have 2 say it's the best yo-yo EVER!!!! The shape of it fits nicely in ur hand and throws smoothly. The metal rim weights keeps it balanced and enhances it's durability. Worth every penny. Everyone should have 1.
i love yoyofactory's music. im getting a protostar!!! yay!!! paul han should definitely get his own yoyo, his tricks are so SMOOTH. but the yoyo's hes using are really good, he couldnt really do anything to improve them, lol

i just started using a yo yo cause it was a gift, i was given a auto return yomega and i got use to it pretty quick i am actually annoyed that it wakes up so easily and what not what should i move on to? would a yomega raider be good?
DM2 or the Protostar? which do you prefer both with its stock bearings?
im stuck between buying these two and i cannot buy both atm...

@Keviii291 north is alittle heavier for slower play. proto is for a bit fasterplay
Can you tell me if the Protostar is coming out with any new colors? If not I have a suggestion, Black, Clear, and Translucent Orange.
What is better protostar or dv888 taking into cosideration the price difference. I have a Grind machine 1 but want to improve my skills.

Euro-Yo. Not only does it deal in pounds & euros, but they've got a massive range of yoyos. Just Google it - it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Thanks do you think i should get an unresponsive yoyo i am looking for a new one like a grind machine protostar, or dv888. I am not that good and right now i have a duncan metal drifter that cost $25, do you think i should wait until i get better or is binding easy enough to learn from.
