WUJU, IT WAS BRUTAL.
My theory was correct, Apollo and Sonata will take the next case (he likes Rarity and it's a reasonable way for him to star in a case and Sonata from the beginning is looking to be someone's lawyer, it's the perfect co-counsil).
That said: I don't believe there are only 5 cases. Rarity is sure to be prosecuted in Manehattan, so it's sure to be a repeat location, so, we could have a minimum of 6 cases, maybe?
Theories aside, I really enjoyed the video. You can tell the team are all good people and a lot of fun, I'm glad they are doing great, they deserve it.
My theory is that, maybe, Rarity will be prosecuted in Manehattan for the murder of Overall, but it's only a plot mechanism to dig deeper in the plot of the "dark age of the law" that is happening in Equestia, and then, similar to case 3-2 with Mask DeMasque and Atmey, another murder will be discovered in the Wonderbolt Academy (the next location), and have Rarity accused of it again somehow, or maybe is related to Overall somehow
That's my wild guess
@@joaograndius7997 It is quite possible. 2 trials in the same case. They could even both cases could even be resolved in parallel.
I wonder how the trial of Sonata and Overall will affect the matter. Could we see a short Flashback trial with no investigation phase, like the first case of "Trials and Tribulations"?
@@pachoncitog6779Maybe, and maybe that flashback also shows why Equity got interest in contacting with Sonata

Glad to see more love for Investigations 2, and the team-member who mentioned it as his favourite has pretty much the same taste in cases as me. (I'd also name GAA2-3 as one of my all-time favourite cases, and Case 3 is my favourite within Investigations 2)
James here, that was me! Yeah, I always throw some AAI2 love out there, since I've come to realize that it's only really the hardcore fans that have played it, so the magic of it has yet to be discovered by some. Much love, by the way. Always good to see one of the few people still online who worked on AAI2's fan-translation out and about!
@@JMBoote1 The resident Ace Attorney Bibliography in the team loves his RARES
@@JMBoote1 Investigations 2 is an amazing game and I will shout it out every chance I get, it's still a crime it never got officially released since it followed that late-AA trend of being an amazing sequel to an underwhelming first entry.
Also, as someone who got into FiM through Turnabout Storm, I remember laughing so hard when I found the optional investigation joke in AAI2 where Edgeworth gets extremely confused over an "alicorn" statue. (Though I only did the first pass translation, it was the localization team that put in "sparkling in the twilight" but I'm so glad they did, it's a reference I'm sure an official AA localization would've made) .
