Hi there, just a heads-up: some signs are written in traditional chinese while others are simplified. In mainland China, everyone's handwriting is in simplified chinese, but it's a fashion choice that some merchants use traditional Chinese for their signs and people can read them just fine. Don't get tripped over it and good luck with the learning.
