We played leeds, I think after the international break and like a striker in front of goal seems we had a long time to think about it and we changed style. I would have liked to see us go toe 2 toe with Leeds. I know you said clean sheets for last 3 games, I thought it was also in the last nine home games they were all clean sheets. My prediction blades 1-0 Burnley😊
We just were not good enough, but I don't think we were far off you. Honestly, we have scrapped through the last couple of wins to lesser opposition than yourselves. Our Squad just seem a little short with the expected injuries and suspensions. The window opening will help with one or two key loans. It's a new squad this season, for me. They have massively overachieved what I expected but not what I hoped. @@Bibg867
@@simonrodman6116 hopefully your new American owners (like us) will back you in the transfer window. I think you, us and Leeds (to cocky) will go to the wire. Best wishes for the rest of The season 👍
Big week at Bramall Lane, Xmas Cheer, New Ownership, Full House, Fan Expectation Overload. A Blades win will open up a seven point gap on the Clarets. Burnley will feed off this, I fear a cold turkey result!
Sheff Utd have only been behind 5 times this season. 9 mins away at Norwich, 21 mins away at Leeds, 10 mins away at Boro, 11 mins away at Bristol C and 11 mins away at WBA. That's an incredibly low total of just 62 minutes that Sheffield Utd have been behind. Compare this to Leeds 363 mins, Burnley's 245 mins and Sunderland's 197 mins.
Fantastic stats. There was only one problem, though with all of that: Sheffield United hadn’t played Burnley yet. Totally dominant away performance. It’s only one game but today there was such a gulf between the two sides. It was ridiculous. Good luck to Sheffield United for the rest of the season.
Overs often hit in the Boxing day fixtures for some reason. But bc its an unders league this season, keeping the stakes small and the SHU-BUR stinks of a 1-1 game.
This match will be like the Uzyk v Fury fight, not much out and out action, more of a tactical chess match. Expect Sheff Utd to win 1-0 (like they do) but I'm not confident and wouldn't surprise me if it's a 1-1 draw. Tickets were £41 + £1 booking fee, but this match has still sold out, will be over 31K and a great atmosphere.
It's going to be tight, but I fancy United to edge it, especially if Souza is back. Wilder will have them fizzing for this, and they will want to put on a show for the new fans and owners. That being said, I would take a draw now.
Blackburn Rovers 2-2 Sunderland Bristol City 2-1 Luton Town Coventry City 2-1 Plymouth Argyle Middlesbrough 3-1 Sheffield Wednesday Norwich City 2-1 Millwall Oxford United 0-1 Cardiff City Preston North End 1-0 Hull City Sheffield United 1-0 Burnley Swansea City 3-1 Queens Park Rangers Watford 2-0 Portsmouth Derby County 2-2 West Bromwich Albion Stoke City 0-2 Leeds United Good luck everyone and Merry Christmas :)
Ryan, no!!! Please don't curse us at home to Portsmouth. I'm going on Boxing Day. I think we'll draw to be honest. I'd go Portsmouth double chance over a Watford win on this one.
Plymouth got a draw bc boro were abysmal defensively, and maybe partly due to adverse weather conditions. In the first goal they were camped inside their own 20, against the worst side in the league, who like to whip the ball in. In the third one, there was no pressure on the ball again, the mid's were ball watching when the argyle player crossed the ball in from a dangerous area. Don't see anything other than a Cov home win here, even if the sky blues have proven to be unreliable so far. Argyle away are fartcoin, completely useless but sometimes fun to speculate with.
Dirtiest and biggest time wasters in the league ably assisted by an inept referee that should never work again. You got lucky today its a long season UTB.
It's not a derby as such, it's the war of the roses.
The 2 games that United lost came straight after the passing of the( 🌟 man) George Baldock so the club wasnt in a good mindset .
Good point, hadn't realized that.

Mad isn't it? Never gone into half time down by a goal or more. UtB!

Samder berge, john Egan derby? 🤷♂️
i think Burnley or a 0-0 draw nailed on, tbh... hopefully I'm wrong, tho (as a blade)
Sander Berge doesn't play for Burnley
going to be a 0-0 or 1-0 either way, as a Clarets fan. Tough game at away at Blades
@@royadcock3408 stick with the Jon Harley derby, then 🤷♂️ Idc! 😆

The Blades' losses were still in the period when the team hadn't quite gelled after the introduction of several new players.
Play like we did Saturday Clarets and we’ll take the points UTC
Nothing on Blackburn vs Sunderland?
I'd take a draw, Blackburn have a good home record and have been winning for fun.
Sunderland win by one goal.
Who?

Don’t understand why people don’t do research at home we’re good in fact amazing if it was away I’d understand
He probably did research and saw that Burnley are the best away side in the league
Up the Clarets!
