Yusuf Surah {Arabic: يوسف} is the 12th chapter of the Quran. It contains 12 Rukus, 111 verses, 1795 words,and 7307 letters. Surah e Yusuf is a Makki sura, and it opens with Muqaṭṭaʻāt ʾAlif Lām Rā الر. Surat Yousaf is located in 12 and 13 para (juz) of the Quran. Ahsan al-Qasas (the best of stories)is another name of sura yusuf. The Quran surah yusuf meaning is “Joseph.” Except for the final few verses, the entirety of Surah al-Yusuf recounts various stages of Hazrat Yousaf’s life. The sura’s message is about sincerity in all actions and trials. It highlights the benefits of God’s support through truthfulness and purity of intention. The Surah portrays truth and teaches about dreams. It presenting many principles of serving Islam through the life story of a prophet who rose to prominence in the country where he was sold as a slave.
