I was 15 when this came out. Me and a lad in my form called Adam used to always sing it to each other and say it was our song. He even wrote the words in my yearbook when we left school. I was so oblivious to the fact he liked me 💔 sorry Adam, I always think of you now when I hear this song.
Honesty, this for me is the best band of the 90s. I’m not from the 90s but I just feel like they’re music describes the music from the 90s perfectly! I can’t believe that nobody at my school knows this band smh and they say that they love the 90s. James is forever x
The band is in another stratosphere as far as music goes! A British 🇬🇧 band with charisma, charm, talent and awesome music! I love them! I’d give any money to see them in concert live! Love them! I have their best of James album and listen to it regularly ❤️🙏
Seen them live a bunch of times. They never disappoint. I must admit I prefer to see them in a smaller to mid sized venue. Their whole style and music doesn’t sound so great in an arena. I grew up with James. I bought ‘how was it for you’ on its first release and immediately knew they were special.
what a tune not heard it for years (actually forgot about it altogether) then it suddenly popped in my head last week was straight onto it now i've got the internet back! great song
+Dan Pearce yes mate :) I live in Jersey channel islands and we had a concert called folklore and I touched Mr Booth himself when he crowd dived to "Curse Curse" lol
Ils sont restés fidèles à leur principes.. et à leurs idéaux.. C'est bien pour ça qu'on continue à les écouter et à vibrer avec eux.. Même plus vieux !!
That whole verse was written about the Spice Girls. People outside the UK may not have heard of that girl group who were big here at the time this came out.
I'm 16, and im tired of all this current dubstep bullshit and modern music crap... This is one of the coolest songs ever from the Best band to ever grace the Earth
3 times ive been brought here from post match montages cardiff vs crystal palace in the carling cup, widnes vs st helens in the challenge cup,and now blackpool vs birmingham in the play offs.good song though
InokertyRocks Absolutely, and our loss here in USA, Inc. Tim Booth and the guys weren't received well because most of this land wouldn't know decent music and poetry if you threw it up their arses. I'm embarrassed by what they shove out there and call "music". Luckily I was born just in time to experience the 60s.
Define Irony. Tim Booth played Victor Zsasz in Batman Begins. Gotham's season 3 finale's first half is entitled Destiny Calling. Weird Coincidence? Nah.
@tonyyoung1000 since im only 16 and ive never heard of him them before it took something like that to let me first hear their music. If you were a true fan and not so ignorant you wouldn't get pissed off that lots of people cam here to watch the video cause of the game
Bit of a strange coincidence this was released during the height of Spice Girl Power. A plate with Booth's picture on it? That's either a very profound statement, or just ridiculous. He's not a consumable product, but he is. Just don't tell Damien Hirst.

We all had those odd misses we wish we had noticed at the time
